There's nothing to fear but fear itself? I think CS has fought and won this battle by the sound of things. But remember, some people believe that a man that fears nothing loves nothing. I'm not saying that is true, but I think it is worth consideration. I

I still feel like an undereducated person relative to many of my friends who have Masters' degrees. I really don't consider my education to have started until grad school. Everything before it was so... elementary. Rote memorization and a lack of thinking dominated my undergraduate education.

Send your mail to: [email protected] Include the word "Dilbert" in the subject line to pass his spam filter. Heh, yea I actually do know how to contact Scott. I was just using that as a literary element. It was a rhetorical question. <

Warning. Reading this article may result in nasal discharge! That reminds me of a warning label I read on some type of medicine... I can't recall what it was, but one of the possible side effects was "anal discharge." All i can say to that is, "Ewww!"

Yea, so... where was this post? I'm only curious in a clinical manner. *whistles innocently*

I have always thought that communication and honesty in that communication are the most important things in a relationship. I would be a little disturbed if the only way I could communicate with my spouse was through e-mail. But then, considering my track record in relationships I probably have no idea what I'm talking about.

My first time was a contest. I was 16 and working in a Captain D's restaurant (it's a fast food seafood place). Some of the other cooks and I were talking about sex, and I accidently let it out that I was a virgin. I had had opportunities in the past, but never felt the need to break into adulthood at the time. Well, the counter girls overheard us, and they thought this was very funny. So they had a contest to see who would get to be my fi

Walter E. Williams has an insightful overview of some recent comments by Bill Cosby. This time Cosby spoke at Jesse Jackson’s 33rd Annual Rainbow/PUSH Coalition conference in Chicago. Cosby suggests taking responsibility for the future of blacks, and urges blacks to stop bla

You crack me up! Coffee was almost shot all over my computer! Well, I'm not paying for it! Maybe I need to start using a warning label. Warning. Reading this article may result in nasal discharge!

"In Italy for thirty years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love; they had five hundred years of democracy and peace and what did they produce? The cuckoo clock." - Orson Welles (1915-1985) "

Now I know that journalists today are trying harder and harder to find sensational stories, and the headlines of those stories are often all they have to catch the eye of a reader, but surely there are limits. Take this headline: Rosie Takes Shot At Bush During Gay-Friendly Cruise I mean, couldn't they just say she was loo

Obligatory On-Topic material: I used to listen to the Hindu Love Gods song (cover?) "Pale Blue Eyes" when I was depressed, and cry. Oddly, she didn't have blue eyes, they were brown. "Don't it make my brown eyes blue"

Profound wisdom, Mig. As a child and young adult I never seemed to have solid opinions. I would, depending on my mood, support various positions on key topics. I eventually realized that I was not expressing my views, but rather views that were missing in a discussion. I just couldn't listen to an argument or opinion without chiming in with a retort. And while I may argue with Abbey on Monday about a topic, on Tuesday I may be siding with

I’ve always had an inquisitive mind and a talent for understanding. I’m planning on writing about that later, but for now I wanted to share one of my mother’s favorite stories about me. My “undermind” plays a vital role in the tale. Back when I was about six or seven, I wanted to take a bike ride. So I went to fetch my bike only to find that it had a flat
