Another song I thought of is Evanescence's My Last Breath ... about a dying girl saying her goodbyes to the man she loves. I think I've got a theme going on.
CS Guy
CS...I'll be running for president in 2008, the first presidential election year in which I'll be eligible. I will, of course, be looking for people to fill important cabinet posts once elected...large campaign donations can go a long way towards securing a post... Well there's a problem with that. 200
It's better put to music.
Doh! You big fat tease!
CS - Off topic but do you work in "the Building"? If you do we may have closer ties than you think, my wife works there too. I'm not sure what "the Buidling" is. I can think of a couple of "the" sites here, "the Mountain" being the most prominent, but my building would not be considered "the" anything.
Thanks CS - Most guys don't have the sack to admit that anything will make them cry... It takes a big man to admit he cries. It takes a bigger man to make fun of that fellow.
I Love You by the Climax Blues Band When I was younger man I hadn't a care Foolin' around, hitting the town, growing my hair You came along and stole my heart when you entered my life Ooh babe you got what it takes so I made you my wife Since then I never looked back It's almost like living a dream And ooh I love
know the Delta characters in BlackHawk Down make me cry due to a feeling of inadequacy. Agreed, but at the same time that depiction of those characters made me proud to be an American. Sleepless in Seattle makes me cry. The scene where Tom Hanks is telling the talk-radio host about his dead w
I hope no one thinks i'm a complete weirdo now *looks scared* What's wrong with weird? I like weird. Normal is so boring.
And what would be the policies you would adopt? I have the perfect platform ... though it is aimed at Americans.
Bakerstreet: Indeed and the CIA's failures ARE troubling. And every person I have talked to in the Intelligence community agrees that this is Clinton's fault. Just one example (the only one I can really reveal)... In my Top Secret interview I ment
Since Powell has since stated the intelligence was not correct, where do you draw the line between the leadership (i.e. the administration) misleading the public (even with the best intentions) and the fact that they were duped by false information supplied by Iraqis (like Chalabi) to further their own aims and political ambition
All the frog kissin' makes you appreciate your prince all the more It's good to know I've been serving a good purpose to the ladies of my community.
odd that you should mention this as it what I am watching right now! That is a great series. I recently rented the first season from Netflix. I look forward to seeing the second season.
He actually did a short interview with Moore which significantly raised my opinion of Moore as a person. It brought him a bit closer to my monkeysphere perhaps:) Yea, I saw that as well, and I had the same reaction.
Personally, you are fanbloodytastic, For some reason, I read that as "fanbootytastic"... I wonder why that is.
These movies are very interesting and entertaining, but I think liberals can claim that he uses editing to produce his point. We really don't know how many people he interviewed. So he may have just taken clips from the morons. I think Penn and Teller did a better job covering themselves in their Bullshit! series. For example, in their episode on Environmental Hysteria they use
I've heard many opponents of the war claim that Bush said Saddam and his WMDs were an imminent threat as a way of scaring the American people into support. Actually, Bush said flat out that Saddam's WMD program was not an imminent threat, but that if we waited for it to be one then we would have waited too long. Some people seem to have a hard time understanding that.
Hah! That was great! My favorite quote... Female fan of Clinton, "He liked my pants."
"I would like to be able to admire a man’s opinions as I would his dog - without being expected to take it home with me." - Frank A. Clark "
Sorry to hear this, Sally. When I was growing up, my oldest brother was involved with drugs. I saw what it did to him... the lack of mental control, the decline of his intelligence, and the ambivalence towards life. And he was never an addict, just a recreational user. Luckily he got his act together before joining the Navy. But because of him, I have never, NEVER, wanted to use drugs. I don't even like to take aspirin. I hope th
Good stuff, Mug. I would have to agree with Mig's assessment of you.
I am now almost finished a psychology degree but, like yourself, have an abysmal GPA which means that getting in to post grad to complete my training will be near impossible. I actually went to graduate school BECAUSE my GPA was so bad. I don't know where you are, but here we have this test called the
Corrupt corporate executives are good examples of people who care alot about money and little to nothing about morals. Why single out corporate executives? Do you not think that the mugger on the street cares more about money than morals?
the one of them sleeping is precious! Agreed. A little off-topic, but does the server(s) hosting JoeUser perform a backup around 2:00 AM Eastern?
