ajac said- more diplomatic options Isnt this cming in the expansion? if not I want non agrression packs treaties that dont allow ANYONE to cross my border. Treaties that allow my allies to cross my border. More diplomacy options are coming in the expansion. The colored lines are not your borders, there are many posts discussing them. I like it the way it is, since in reality you could not possibly protect a border in the middle of space that spans for ligh

Park your colony ships by the planets when you find one. Don't colonize the planet until you see an AI colony ship coming. That way, you can give your economy (population) a chance to grow before slamming tons of maintenance costs into the equation.

After Richard Dean Anderson left SG1, it's not going very far. I mean, 10 seasons? They're used practically every story line possible. I like SG Atlantis better, the base is just cool looking But both Stargates don't compare to BSG. That show is awesome.

Make sure that you research better morale buildings before better farms. Usually I don't research farms at all. And make trade routes, it will help your economy but not your morale. Many people say trade is worthless in GCII, but I use it and it makes big $$$.

Wow. I wish I had the time to write OP's like that. Ok, so maybe the AI isn't perfect. But thousands and thousands of people playing the game are going to find many more of the little annoyances than Brad can himself. Even though those little annyoances are there, the AI is still very good in respect to other AI's. Anyway, games are only supposed to be fun. If the AI is good enough to keep you playing and enjoy doing so, then hey, it works, doesn't it? <img src="http://images.stardo

Xtrak nothing "should" be added to the game that you mentioned. It's called an opinion, and you are trying to press yours on everyone else and insist that it's fact. Your views on the meaning of "opinion" need to be corrected. And that's not an opinion.

I vote no also. Then you would just be swarming carriers, which would have lots of fighters, which would slow the game down to a complete crawl. There's also making the AI use them right. Just wouldn't work.

So 19 is the new couple..... Many of your suggestions sound like part of the third expansion to GC4..... I wouldn't count on them soon. Many of your ideas have individual threads discussing them (ex. tactical combat, blackholes) if you could ever find them. As a sidenote, tactical combat will not be in GC2. Stardock will consider it seriously for a sequel, not an expansion. Personally I don't wa

Sounds like you settled too many worlds too fast, that maintainence can add up quickly, but usually your pop. growth, if you have fairly good morale and picked some for your abilities, will let you get out of the hole in a few turns. In a galaxy with many planets (I play random) I just park the colony ship by a planet until you see the AI going for that planet. Then colonize. This will help offset those maintainence costs so they don't come all at once.

If you want to see EVERY ship battle, then go to options, look under interface and there will be a 'battle length' option- click the arrows until you find "Full Battles." This should give you every battle in the combat viewer.
