I think it's a matter of interacting with others first. I'm new and only occasionally get comments on my own articles, but I do a lot of reading and comment when I feel I have something to say on others. It takes time to be accepted and meet a group of people who like you, why should the internet be any different. Thanks dharmagrl, I live near Glasgow and have access to a few local sites...I love all aspects of history...though my passion is ancient history so the UK really lets you get a glimps into that.
