sounds like profile issues to me. Open c:\documents and settings\all users\desktop folder In a separate window, open c:\documents and settings\"username"\desktop folder Compare them. If something is listed in both places, you will have 2 icons on your desktop. Delete one of them. Most likely occurs when someone moves an icon with the right mouse button and chooses copy here.

Link Keep in mind though, anything that messes with your registry has the potential for disaster.
What you have are left over registry entries. This is why your "recent" list showed up once you re-installed. You might try CCleaner after you uninstall office. Otherwise you may have to manually scan the registry for entries. This can be daunting at best and disasterous at worst.

Walls I change about every 3-5 days. WB, I vary. Sometimes I just use windows classic and have WB unloaded. The avg WB lasts about 3-5 days also when I am running it. Icons - Been running Enhanced XI for MONTHS now Link .

try this.. Open printers and faxes, right click on your printer and go to properties. On the sharing tab, check the box to share the printer, give it the share name of lets say $printer. In regards to the animation... suppose your "all programs" section is 190x30. Make your frames for the animation something like 188x30. In essence, make the frames of your animation just a tad smaller than the space in which it goes. It worked for me on a blind once....
