first off.. buy more ram if you can. Bump it up to at least 512MB, preferably 1024MB. Then do as Halluci said. If you have just 1 drive, set the pagefile size at a higher level. Right Click My Computer, Properties, Advanced, Performance (settings button), Advanced, Virtual Memory (change button). Highlight the drive letter, and check the custom size button. Set the initial size and maximum size to the same number, then hit the Set button. You will probably have to reboot then. T

I would appear that wb themes do indeed show when connecting to the server via rdp. I have not tried DesktopX themes though. I really doesn't seem to advisable to do a full blown dx theme on the server, but hey.. ya never know.

Technician.. just a shot here... Try double clicking on that link where the tool tip is, and it might let you change the zip code. A lot of object/theme designers seem to overlook this and often do not set the properties of the clickable object to "single-click".

I just wanted to say thanks Stardock for the latest DX version. I have been making DX themes for nearly 2 years now. NEVER EVER have I seen a stable version of it... until now. My latest theme, Paradax I (shameless plug) was created primarily with DX 2.2 or a 2.19 build. It is the firs time that I have gone through the entire teeth-gnashing process of creating a theme without DX crashing repeatedly. It was almost.. pleasant . So, here's a hearty two-thumbs up to ya. most likely it is because the latest widgets are made on BETA versions of DX. They don't release the beta versions to non object desktop subscribers.. hence.. no beta on download.com. Real soon DX 2.2 will be released though and the issue will be solved. [Message Edited]

UBoB, I too noticed a sudden "fix" for no apparent reason. I did not install anything.. Here is my therory... Once you d'load a couple of them and rename the zip file to wba and open it, I think windows recognizes what you want to do with the file and allows it to proceed accordingly when you download it. Wow mrtee.. you have said quite a mouthful, and indeed provided some nifty ideas. Like I said, my method is just one of many. It's just the one that I find easiest for me. In any case, however you do it, it is a great time saving tool for the next event of the dreaded "format c:"!!!

You don't need to put SP1 on the CD. SP2 supercedes all other service packs. The original CD that I used was pre-sp1 and all worked well, and as hangar-8 stated, you can still do this with an XP-sp1 or sp1a cd.
