Or better still, make each image separately, then use aniutil.exe (included with desktopx) to put them together in the "film strip".

Windows xp naturally supports unzipping. Otherwise, and excellent choice is Winzip. Now.. could you be a tad more specific...
Good answer.. thanks.. PS .. Koasati.. you have mail
If it is saving them as a .zip file, then save it and then rename it .wba THEN double click on it. SP2 seems to do this for awhile then miraculously heals itself.
So, what statistics denote the top "20" or so. Subscriber downloads or all downloads. It's a noble and generous idea and I hope the details will work out. I still remain skeptical however.
I don't care for the idea. I see disaster coming down the pipe. Lets look at a couple things... 1. If you name a piece of garbage , Longhorn something, or Aero something, it gets alot of downloads just because of the name. Completely unfair. 2. Despite what anyone says, this community has been known to play favorites from time to time. That is just the nature of any grouping and is to be expected. However, when money is now involved it will lead to more arguments than we already hav
Is it just me, or is this site getting slower to others as well? I understand bandwidth issues and I'm just asking to see if it might be something on my end that needs attention.
english... in CAPS, like he made the title.
I had forgotten how much i loved WindowsMax. Can't wait for part II.

FYI - In version 8x (or 9), go to file > preferences > file format preferences. Click on the PNG tab and uncheck the Load and save transparency from / to alpha channel. By doing this, your transparent areas will save properly.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, because I say this alot in various posts.. Close desktopX (of course, if it is crashing it probably isn't open anyway) Open your object desktop folder, then open your desktopx folder, open your "username Theme" folder (username being your name of course). Delete everything in that folder. Try starting DesktopX again. This has worked for me numerous times when I have written a bum script. Also, sometimes when a theme crashes it wi

THANK YOU for asking that. I've been trying to figure that one out for awhile now.
And the vagueness increases 10-fold...
Oh. By the way.. thanks for that link to imagehost.org. I have been looking for a good solution to getting screenshots posted without hosting a web site.
Open Stardock Central, go to TOOLS, then SETTINGS. Uncheck the Enable MCP SmartStartup option? DOH.. you don't have Stardock Central? How did you get IconX then... I take it you have the shareware version? If this is the case, I have no clue how to get rid of this without registry editing. [Message Edited]
Might I add this. To install the downloadable sample object. Empty your "my theme" folder and extract the zip file to it. Might be better if you were to make the object a dxpack file... Thanks for the great tips mormegil!
AND.. ability to check an EXCHANGE server account...

Use the Save theme AS choice. This will save the theme for you to reload later if you have loaded a different theme since. Do that, unload DX, then delete the contents of your "username" theme folder. Start DX and load your theme. You may have something funky going on in your current theme folder.
