Good article HG. I knew this, but it's still a valuable tip. One time I was experimenting with some various multi-boot utilities and one of them trashed my MBR... had to perform the above steps to fix it all.

GT3 is leaps and bounds a better quality skin. WindowsMAX is good, but it is not even in the same league as GT3. There is something seriously wrong if this award does not go to Tiggz.

If you have the registered version of DesktopX there is an excellent program called aniutil included. Just make each individual frame of the animation, same them in .bmp or .png format and fire up aniutil. It will put the frames together in to one image. - It MAY be included with the free version, I dunno -

ummm... the only thing accurate about it is the amount of ugly it creates. It's only accurate if you are a bat!! Mine is always at 100% contrast and 50% brightness. Works on any monitor I have.

What you are asking for at this point is not going to be given to you here. You should have a microsoft license for it somewhere. It may be on a separate card or piece of paper that came with your pc. If not, your only option is to contact the manufacturer or go purchase works again.

kona0197 - The issue with skins not auto installing works itself out after a few days. Don't ask me how, but I've installed SP2 several times to test this and it has done it every time. The only plus for me is the pop-up blocker helps quite a bit, other than that, I don't see any great advantages to it.
