How is this possible? I sued for peace with the I-League just to get some cash. They had only 1 planet left of 14 PQ, with 1200 people on it! Also they had ~500 bc in the bank. Just how is it possible they can afford to pay me so much? Talk about screwy.
I am very new and also confused. I have v1.2, not AP. In a small galaxy game I had already built 2 constructors and placed them on resources, thus successfully creating two different starbases. Later in that game (within 4 years of starting) I had another constructor head for a military resource and when it finally got there, a message displayed saying that it cost 400 bc to build a starbase and that my treasury was insufficient (I had ~ 167 bc).
