Marcie, all I'm going to say to you at this point is I'd appreciate it if you prayed over the situation, and start acting like the Christian you claim to be. You have tried to keep our dispute going on many different threads over the past week or so, ever since you were let off confinement. Take it to the lord already, a
MarcieMoo
I pictured Ziggy a lot differently, though. I know he's talked about being Italian, but I never thought of him as having dark hair, and the facial hair was unexpected too, haha. That's laziness facial hair. He's too lazy, and usually too late to shave. He's also got very sensitive skin, which you wo
Karma~ You're cute! And my aunt always says this about chunkiness..."It's good to have some extra pounds. What if you have to have surgery or you're in a coma for a long time? You gotta have fat stores!"
I am not a dingbat, Marcie, and I am not getting him down. Must you use every third party thread you participate on to take digs at me? I'm getting pretty sick of it. I doubt you'd have said what you did if Tex hadnt mentioned my name in the previous post, since the article itself is pretty cryptic. Who
Simon recently put an application in with a company in Houston. A girl can always hope. Houston is bad, too...right? I was there once for about a week--I'm not sure. You were and OTR trucker with your ex...have you been there before?
You know...I think that you're right...that we do miss out on some good people because they look "Uglier" than we thought or something. I perceive myself as ugly, so "beautiful" people intimidate me because I feel like I'm less of a person. I'm more likely to strike up a conversation with an average-looking person than a "hot" person because I *think* they'll think I'm fugly.
It's also "leisure". You're awesome, DG. Don't let the dingbats get you down.
B & A~ *sighs* Know that you are going to be thought of and supported during the time leading up to your deployment and while A is away. Know that what you're doing is important, noticed, and appreciated. I don't think that all of you military families hear "Thank you" enough. I really mean it.
Did you see my picture and think "Whoa! What an ugly hag?" He he.
I tell my kids that just because you have the freedom to say a cuss word does not mean that you always SHOULD. I have to boys and there are certain words we do not say around their mother, i.e. George Carlins "seven" Linkjust out of simple politness. Of course when their not around I say them and she can belt 'em out to when she
I saw that movie, it was with Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams. Made in 1999. A 'What if' comedy about the Nixon years. lol...Richard Nixon was kind of a penis, wasn't he?
They all look alike, Jamie! lol:) I get so confused!
Very interesting perspective. I've often wondered how I'd breach that subject as a parent. I have to breach it as a teacher, sometimes. And most of the time, the kids don't even know what the "bad words" they're saying mean. We were playing a game earlier this year, and one of my students quoted a movie that said something about a "dick". I don't think any of the other kids knew what he was talking about, but I still had him sit out of the
It's so much easier for me to talk to guys now that I'm "attached". There's not that pressure, I guess, and I can just talk to them and find out what they're in to. I grew up with my cousin, Bill. Every summer, all summer, every winter weekend or break...we were together. We went sledding, he drove me around behind his garden tractor (*lol*...the joys of living in the sticks!), we ate plums and apples off the trees in the orchard, watched t
Well said, FC.
I, too, happen to be a GSN addict. I love to watch Amazing Race at night, but I like watching the reruns, too. Chuck Woolery is probably my all time favorite, and Gene is fun, too. I wonder what will happen to The Price is Right when Bob Barker dies? My guess is that they'll send him to a taxidermist and still have him "host" the show....lol. Who's the guy that does C
We're birds of a feather, Brandie. I think it's just an issue of being male or female, lots of times, because our emotions are wired differently. I have a hard time telling Ryan when I'm mad at something, because I think HE'LL think that its stupid, so I stew about it and he makes me talk about it. I don't know if he should let me just get over it by myself or do what he's doing. It's hard to tell. I think the best thing to do is j
Go for it, girl!
I'm sure you'd be fun irl. I've been here for almost a year and I am still convinced that I need a female friend...I am just wondering if I'm going to find any... I think I am fun. I tend to be the "event planner"..."Let's go for a walk in the park!" "Let's go to the Science Museum!" "Let's go to a p
to all (because I think we are all on the same page): I just think that if we stick together, rather than sabatoge eachother through ruining marriages and other personal attacks, that women can just rise above all of this petty crap. I just don't understand why some women do this to each other. Shouldn't we be proud of
I still maintain that people should wait a least a year before they go to college. I wish I would have. I had extenuating circumstances, though. But a year can really help you decide what you want to do and earn some "spare change" for the whole college experience. Defer enrollment and take a year and try some different things.
Sometimes I wish I could be on the outside, looking in. I wish so, too. If nothing else, just for a freakin year of normality or something for you...a year of respite from deployment. The poor guy just got home, damn it.
Right on, Dan! Other people could learn from your example--live and learn, move on with life.
