I want to know how this couple had so many children who are disabled all at once...and how they were not monitored for so long that something like this could happen. I guess my big thing is that these children have disabilities. Isn't life going to suck enough for them...be difficult enough for them...stressful enough for them that they should have a pillow, a blanket, a mattress when they go to sleep instead of a pet carrier? Ugh.

I'm a big girl...and while I realize that I definitely need to lose some poundage, it's just REALLY difficult for me to do it...the last time I went in to the dr. I'd lost five...but I'm sure with the move and the stress of a new job I've gained again. And those jeans are butt-ass fugly! They were probably cool in 1988! Ugh! There's so much out there that's comfortable yet fashionable....those look like they're neither...
lol...I'm sicker than a dog, too, Karen. At first I thought it was just Minnesota allergies, but I know it's something more now. I've got nasty green stuff coming from my nose, nastier stuff being hacked out of my lungs, and a very squeaky voice. Sure didn't take long for my little ratlets to get me sick. Only 5 days! Not bad. Hope you're singing, generally feeling be
I'd agree about some of those...but usually it's just a publisher saying "Okay...we have this line of books to help kids read phonetically...how do we market?" So then Scooby Doo and Spongebob get attached to them. My big recommendation? The Junie B. Jones series by Barbara Park. My kids LOVED them...we'd read them and then they'd go check them out in the library and read them again themselves. That was my class's big purchase last year...
lol...when I was younger and still playing around on the farm, I managed to get PI ALL over...and I mean ALL over. I was so miserable...and I didn't know what it was...and I got in the bathtub and that's where my mother found me, all puffed up with my eyes almost swollen shut. Calamine lotion will help dry it out, too.
Go to partypoker.net and you can play with play money for free. I've started watching on TV...it's kinda fun, I think. partypoker.net will also teach you what's what. No one really knows what they're doing on partypoker.net if you go down to the bottom of the list on the tables, so it's kinda fun. I don't know much...I'd suggest watchign on TV for an hour or two if you want to learn which hands you should fold or play. And you've got the b
That's the thing, you know? When these sorts of things happen, you get to see both the best and the worst of humanity. Countries from all around the world are offering to help. Our own citizens are rushing to the stores to buy bleach and cleaning supplies for the hurricane victims. They're donating canned goods. They're concerned about their fellow Americans. I get pulled in two different directions during times like this. Part of me say
They will eventually, probably...but then some ungratefuls would rather have the money so they can pick out their "own stuff"... You know...have you ever heard anyone say "THANK YOU" to any type of aid or rescue? I haven't... What a dirty rotten shame.
Amen, Karen! I can't give any money either, and I can't really offer any shelter. I can offer prayers however, and I don't know how much that means, but...I hope that helps a little bit at least.
I need to get a pedal bike. My work is only ten blocks away, and it's not like I can't use the exercise. My issue is that snow's just around the corner...and they don't make snow tires for pedal bikes... But I could definitely save lots on gas for right now...
lol...a Goldwing?
You need to get a bicycle built for two!
I'm from a little town about 50 miles east of Fargo, ND. I was a junior in high school the spring the big floods came. I remember our school excusing absences for students who wanted to go to Fargo and help fill sandbags. I didn't go to Fargo during that time, but now when I go back it's odd seeing how high the water actually got... Water is a very powerful force...I think lots of times we forget how much of that power it posesses... <B
I don't know how I'd react in this situation. I'm one of those people that absolutely can not stand going without a shower for a day...let alone all week like these people have...I'd probably kill for one if I were in their situations, you know? All I know is that I feel very bad and wish there was more of something I could rather than just pray for them. You know? NO is a town that's fairly poor, correct? So this hurricane probably hit on
Yay! Congratulations, Al! Do you think this could lead to a permanent position in the district? YAY YAY YAY!
Planes crash...you know? Airbus crashes. Boeing crashes. Pedestrians crash for heaven's sake. What are you gonna do about it?
Found it! Great picture of a prison "meth-mouth", and you can listen to the story. Hmmmm...that's CRAZY. And interesting....my cousin was in the St. Cloud Correctional Facility for several years, so I've been there. How do they FIX something like that? I mean, really? Yuck. Absol
Very cute! I'm hoping that since we're in Minnesota we can go to the state fair. I suppose that will start up here right quick. You have an adorable family!
Meth is derived from FARM chemicals, you know? The co-ops have had to put locks on their anhydrous ammonia tanks so these addicts can't steal the chemical. I just can't imagine how ANYONE would want to ingest in ANY form, any sort of pesticide or herbicide. My mom works at a jail, too, shovel. She says the meth people are VERY unpredictable and they're really kind of scary when they're high. I've never had to interact with someone high on
If I had the choice to marry any man on earth, it would be Brad Paisley. He is quite the specimen of male studliness. He puts on a really good concert, too. Jill...if you like that one, he's also got a new song out called "Alcohol" that's quite a hoot...new CD's not out yet though. Enjoy--he's *GREAT*. He writes most of his own stuff and there isn't an album of his I've bought that I've regretted.
lol...Al...i got mine in the spring of 1991 and I couldn't quit puking for a week.
The first year is hard, isn't it? I'd like to tell you that it gets better...and it does to some extent. The grieving process takes time and frankly, I don't think it ever ends. This past 4th of July was the 6th year anniversary of my father's death...and Year 5 without him was probably one of the hardest yet, just because I've had so many life changes I suppose. I think that your mom would be touched at your tribute. It's so nice to refle
Sighs... Marcie, please take a moment and do something for me. I say this because I have grown to respect you over this past year, and some of the things you said in that article truly shocked me. Here's what I want you to do... I want you to go back the article in question, go over your own responses, and coun
Shovel's right on. *HUGS* Sometimes you just gotta laugh at life because our plans aren't IT'S plans, you know?
Not that you'll see this, Marcie, but I notice that you failed to address a single point Gid made, other than the "america sucks" bit. He is correct on EVERY count. The masterminds behind 9/11 were not poor, starving people, and they did not attack us because they want what we have. They attacked us because they
