Right click working fine here. Just read the fine print that this is a beta version to try until the end of August. Price it right and you 100% have my money. Did you ever get Google Checkout as a payment option?

If you believe the studios no film ever makes money. I've put hopes of any new Firefly TV shows/movies away. The Multiverse MMO client that I tried looked somewhat rough and while there appear to be some enthusiastic people announcing projects (using what is an open source framework after all - can't knock that) I don't expect to see this jostling for subscribers with WOW. Or the Fallout MMO. Hah.

Fallout 3 is already coming from Bethseda. I'll stick my neck out here and say that the above press release will in no way lead to a Fallout MMO ever seeing the light of day. In my opinion.

I'm getting pagefuls of html(I assume) if I try to click the preorder link. I want to burn off the last of my TG tokens but even going to the "All Games" listing fills the screen with code.

SE4 pretty much made the GalCiv's unplayable for me. The scope of Space Empires makes playing a GC game with a few hundred ships seem paltry, plus the tech tree is pathetic in GC. Ah but the AI! I would love to play a Space Empires game with GalCiv's AI. I've tried to play GalCiv2 and kept on telling myself to give it another try but it's just a very slick but mediocre experience for me. I haven't played since the patch that broke the campaign mode (the combat modification, months ago) but I wi

RTS? There's an RTS in there somewhere but, haviong played Dawn Of War, I thought it was mediocre and skipped those sections. You don't want to play Space Rangers 2? Fine. It doesn't need you. OTOH if you've a sense of humour then buy it. Space Rangers 2 is my absolute favourite 2D space trading game of the last 12 months. Seriously. I hope being on Stardock brings it to as wide an audience as possible. I bought the starforce infested DVD when it was released. Starforce actuall

I was a big fan of Space Empires 4 but just can't bring myself to play 5 (bought through Steam - I like Steam). It's a godawful mess. The move to 3D has been a disaster. Most of the development time has gone into the real time space and ground combat. By late game this could involve hundreds (thousands?) of ships and units and will become so unwieldy that I'm sure most people will skip the tactical combat entirely and use the strategic combat option exclusively. But even the strategic combat tak

Forums I hang on seem to have an unusually vocal minority bigging up this game. Bluesnew had a regular guy-off-the-street turn up and defend the SOTS demo like a momma bear defends her cubs, on his first post. Draw your own conclusions. I tried the demo and thought it was horrible. I do not envy anyone releasing a 4X game in the wake of Gal Civ 2 (I'm looking at you Aaron Hall!) but SOTS doesn't even come close.

f your looking for a good read along the same lines as "The Forever War" read Heinlein's "Starship Troopers" or John Steakley's "Armor". If your looking for insystem space battles read Dickson's "Dorsai" I read Armor last year and it's by far my favourite out of that lot, though it's been about
