You wouldn't want to know what kind of sentence I'd impose on that judge if I had the chance....... Yes, I hope they get him off the bench, there needs to be a public cry of outrage.... maybe he doesn't have any daughters, granddaughters.....maybe he's.....naw. I have a bit of rage in myself......

How good to have a vacation where you do what you want, when you want, and have only yourselves to please and enjoy! Best way to go

It is best to confront those who offend you, or ignore them I agree with you on this Doc, Writing in generics just means everyone then asks "who me?".

I wonder if the Viking women that destroyed Upper Iowa had anything to do with lifting that invisible cloak....?? and is malaria aware of it? and too bad that would be suicide bombers plans were foiled...... , good ones Doc!

I know. It's so depressing to take down the pretty baubles and beads, the lights that blinked and shone softly on the tree, taking us back down the road of memories...... ya. You could do what i did one year, I took this wire wreath that the pine boughs were wound around, stripped it of it's boughs, and wound Christmas lights around it! Then hung it above the kitchen sink and would have it on at night like a night l

singrdave, I'm the chief cook, and bottle washer in my home. My son reaps the benefits of my hotdishes, Minnesota grown type. When he cooks it's frozen pizzas, hotdogs, baquet frozen meals...... I'm retired so I have the time to plan, shop, and cook meals. Love to do the planning for at least 2 weeks in advance. AND it helps with the budget too. AND it's interchangeable. If we don't feel like lasagna, we can hav

You know doc, I guess I'm the original "flip-flopper" cause I wobble back and forth between wanting and not wanting the death penalty in all states.... there was a young gal up here killed, dismembered, and burned a few years back. The killer had been in prison before for sex crimes and has a lengthy record for sex crimes using a knife... His kind, once there's irefutable proof, belongs in a gas chamber! Kil

This sounds awesome Dharma! People dearly love handmade knitted items! And the class sounds like an excellent idea I wish I lived close by, I could help you with that as I took 3 quarters of CMA training, medical terminology is requisite. You'd do great at anything you undertake, and you've got personality plus to help sell what someone might not

Super article Mason! Don't know how I missed it! Ahhhhhhhh, I do see myself in that list at number 2 for sure. And I think it's about "look at me, over here!" not good. I imagine I've been guilty of others too...... My older sister is all but one, and especially numbers 3 ( preaching and straightening someone out) and number 7. I think it would be a good idea for me to print this out, and put it up in front of

That sounds pretty good! I make something like it. Rice cooked then fry it, with onion, carrots, onion, tomato, any leftovers like corn, however I haven't yet given up meat so use leftover pork loin. I too keep meaning to drop the dairy...I just love it so much. Your supper the other night with navy beans, brown rice, spinach salad sounded perfect! Keep getting better Mason!

Dr. Guy, that's really sad.... so sorry, I think I understand the horror of this, and I have empathy for you. That 4 year old was sooo sweet looking, can't fathom doing that, makes me sick to my stomach to think of it. (((((((((((((hugs doc)))))))))))

have had RA since I was 13 (well, earlier than that, but that was when I was diagnosed). I don't take methotrexate for it, as I had a really bad reaction to it. I take Plaquenil for it now (which also treats flares in Lupus and Fibromyalgia) along with BP medicine (which keeps water retention at bay), Armour Thyroid (I no long

I too use to drink a pot of coffee, one of those 16 cup ones, a day. Then when I had my first heart attack I had to give it up along with smoking my 2 packs a day! My bone density has gone from bad ( on the far end) to normal. Except for my hips which are now in what's called the precursor stage of osteoporosis, osteopenia. Coffee takes calcium out of the bones....... Soooo, I drink Peppermint tea, Orange spice tea, all thos

So by Tradition, that is called the Big But! I've read a LOT of articles where, in replies, the commentor uses the "Big But". HOWEVER, it's NOT "Trudy's Big But"!! I loved this rant UDigIt!!! Perhaps a good talking

Wow, way to go Mason! thanks for saving the turtle I know nothing of soft shell turtles, appreciate the article for th info as well as the humane part of it. My son was given two turtles, back when he was still in school, and the guy said they were California Box turtles. Don't know if that was the correct name. He kept them in the bathtub, however when I devel

Dr. Guy, so sorry for this senseless tragedy that has touched your life! It always is a shock when it's someone we know and harder when it's a buddy, co-worker, friend. I hope the rest of the year mellows out for you, without any more losses of dear ones. (((((((((((((hugs)))))))
