That's so sad "bittersweet", used in the story doesn't quite define it. Housing the largest passenger jet, hmmph! glad you have the memories

on my blog a couple of days ago I wrote my list for this coming New Year and mostly it's about returning to doing things I love, that's what keeps me healthy and happiest. Things like dancing in the dark, walking, swimming, and treating myself to some new clothes now that I've lost 44 pounds.
I'm very glad to read your daughter is fine! holy cow, that is soooooo scary. If I may ask, how old is she? I ask because of the following: My daughter was 3 1/2 the spring I bought her a jawbreaker.....she choked, I slapped her on the back and nothing happened. So then I opened her mouth, and used my index finger to create a "hook" and dug the blasted thing out of her throat! I took her straight to Children's Hosp
, that's good! sounds like my kid sister, she was grilling burgers, on Christmas Day, where the cactus grows.

, ROFL geez, now I know I won't try THAT ...... and I had considered doing it once........ it's good to be resourceful, btw, you CAN combine liquid dishsoap with dishwasher detergent to get out stains from clothes. The dishsoap that works that way comes in big tall yellow round bottle. I forget the name but it comes in a citrus scent.
I have my screen name, and sometimes I've used my real name on my posts.....hey, if people aren't reading me, then they haven't seen my real name. That's all I go by though.
when the gas prices sky-rocketed, my son and I started riding the local bus service, weather permitting we walked too when we didn't need too much from the store. It's fun to walk into town, about a mile away. The bus company raised their fares from a dollar to a buck and a quarter for that mile ride, so walking is good exercise.....
It's the spirit that counts, that's what I think anyway. It's difficult when there's many relatives. been there, done that, understand! and special when you get alone time!
p.s. just an after thought here, IMHO there are no flawless Christmas celebrations, that to me is a Norman Rockwell picture, lovely to look at, just not real.
Hurray for spare batteries!! and thank goodness for ( seriously) for shoddy workmanship in the pajama bottoms! If it hadn't been for the shoddy workmanship, you and hubby wouldn't have had that experience together, learning together, experiencing understanding of each other, I think it was a good thing it happened. Sorry though for the hurt feelings, why do us women beat ourselves up so much over our weight?? it never e
That sounds like a good time you had there a relaxing way to have friends pop in, no pressure. We had a quiet time here, just me and the kid, and we wish you a very Happy New Year momijiki!
And I am the scrabble master in my house! wish I could play a game of scrabble against you! You know all the politic'tin stuff and me's I knows the doctorin stuff!
I just learned to play squequence, it combines cards with a scrabble like format. Love it, and also love to play scrabble, have forgotten how to play cribbage but my kid sister loved it so much she was in a cribbage tournament. BTW, my first board game was Candyland, circa 1950's!
Awwwwwwww that makes me soooooooo homesick... My boyfriend and I used to go there on the weekends in his all Ford 23 T-bucket... we'd get a burger and onion rings, and they would put a chocolate chip cookie on top of the onion rings, on the outside of the pkg. I liked their chili too........
These words seem to come from a person of many years, much wisdom.... beautiful
********GROAN..........
No, I haven't ever been told or asked to leave a country. I can't begin to imagine what you're going through! Wherever you are or go, a very Merry Christmas to you and I hope all works out well for you!
Good morning, been awake here since about 6:30 a.m. watched the news then went online about 7:30 A.M. Now is about 8:30 a.m. hope you feel better soon!

Oh and Bless you kind sir for venturing out into that vast wasteland of shoppers! YOU are sooooo brave to do this! How much you DO love your family, seriously. oh yes, a good daddy
OH Dharma, from a heart patient to a dear lady, be glad, very, very glad they are taking good care of you and your ticker! I"m sooooo glad they found this out before you started running! Prayers, love, and good thoughts for you for tomorrow ( and everyday too )
I don't enjoy my meals unless the phone is unplugged, the tv off, and I'm somewhere ( like my bedroom) where it's totally quiet..... I too like to make lists, of course being an "older woman" I find my memory not up to remembering things without a list! I can't stand to shop with other people, unless we're just window shopping. If I'm going shopping I wanna go ALONE! and of course my son likes to go along so.......I
Hope you're feeling better tonight, as I write this, and that there's good news from the doc for you!
Oh I know what you mean! I can't stand telephones, pagers, cell phones and most other devices like this. I DO like my answering machine. If people don't want to leave a message, well then they can't want to talk to me very bad. I don't know about you, I DO know that I was probably born into the wrong time period. If it weren't for health issues, I'd never have a phone!
