I have allow skin to replace user icons unchecked in WB config, skins that have user pic copy them to My Computer local disc-documents and settings\all users\application data\microsoft\user account pictures\default pictures. Will be in display window when open user accounts. Must have show hidden files in folder options checked to get to this folder.
Try changing font for user status, just below user name in elements menu. This is just a quess as I do not use a password.
Logon Studio works very well There may be some bugs. I have in the past had to boot into Safe mode and then restore the default Windows logon This would be caused by the logon being used, incorrect info in .ini, you will get a error box if this happens, click ok, box returns, keep clicking after
Just a guess, using sub skin as per app. and main skin as normal at same time, subs and main will share parts of skin, common images, text settings. Maybe an issue of WindowBlinds tring to aplly as two seperate skins due to the shared info. Again just a guess.
In help menu of bootskin, How to create bootskins.
No problem boopish, also make note of permission in description when you upload. When ready to zip do not need to use SkinStudio, if XP right click foder, send to, compressed zip.
I had downloaded iSkin before my first reply, just deleted and redownloaded GT3, no problems with these skins for me. No system fonts used in them. Address bar text, explorer bar text, copy, move, save, download text all default size. That is Windows XP default size as is not being touched by WindowBlinds. Maybe corrupt downloads for you or a settings issue on your end. It may be a screen resolution issue.
No problem proeber. Corky I typed half what you did and you still posted first
For bootskins I have made for myself, after create 4 bit background image open it in msPaint rect. select 22 x 9 that will look good as progress bar, edit, copy to, bootskin folder as prog.bmp. This way never have to worry about colors.
Put permission text doc and wallpaper in skin folder, win amp, rainy, sys skins point to them unless the are your own skins, could be included . When you have everything you want in skin folder then zip, rename to .wba upload. Permission has to be included with skin.
G4techTV watching The Screen Savers, also have seen Stardock products as free files on Call For Help, now that they are back on tv in Canada.
Use SkinStudio to prepare orginal image, then play with settings at bottom to get the look you want. Problem may also be using an image with too many colors, images for bootskin have only 16 color palette.
Everything back to normal, other than disc defrag and run virus scan and my 4 spyware scan software, all clean, and a few reboots after reinstall. Did not change any settings anywhere, now desktop icons are staying in place. Maybe had one of the site gremlins visit my computer.
Open bootskin, click help, select how to create Bootskins.
Add NOD32 to Per Application in WB config, set to do not skin.
If you mean the title bars for files and folders tasks, other places etc, you will need to recolor the images, that is the color they are meant to be. You will need SkinStudio and some kind of paint or graphics software to do this.
Thanks Island Dog, update fixed issue I was having with todo and event list, uncheck visible for window would reset to visible when change skin, now stays set so only calender opens on double click, much better. Crops the hell out of the rainy RedBuzzard, I have found this is happenin
Uninstalled and reinstalled using SDC, still same problem.
I have been using IP for about 8 months, have not changed any settings since installed. IP has started rearranging desktop icons. First time it has ever done this. Version 2.50h.087 registered, my OS is Windows XP SP2.
you can tell it to turn off the text labels This is only for toolbar icon text.
What version of WindowBlinds, I have 4.51 registered, latest build. Just downloaded a skin I know had changed system fonts when had 4.4, is not changing fonts with 4.51. WindowBlinds is not flakey, you will sometimes experience issues as the skins are made by people with varying levels of talent. 99.9% of problems will be skin or user related. When there are bugs when new build is released they are corrected very quickly, as soon as reporte
iSkin does not have system fonts, address bar, explorer bar etc should be default, sounds like one of your other skins has system fonts and is now default for any skin without. Right click desktop, properties, appearence, Font size select normal apply. Most skins do not have system font/ Fonts for classic widgets (SkinStudio 4.5). Any that do I remove them so do not have to refresh font when change to new skin. Using different fonts on butt
Depending on the skin you may also need to adjust the content margins to keep text from displaying into buttons.
With FireFox Tools-options-privacy-saved passwords click to open click view password, then you can add WC. For IE6 autocomplete seems to be hit and miss, never asks to save password for one of my banking sites, other asked first time and was been there forever, for some sites has asked to save like 8 or 9 times before it saves it. One site I use password for FF asked first time to save, IE6 never has in about 50 visits to that site. As
