Do you have set goals (beyond the 100 pu/su per day)? Max the test within about two months after coming back in. Might pull it off, might not. If I can keep this up, it'll be close, especially if I can squeeze in some weight training. Then a half marathon sometime this spring, and a full one in the fal

Well, this time I at least did the important part. I've been running and eating right. Just not posting about it like I was supposed to for, I dunno, about 3 or 4 weeks. As opposed to vice-versa. Also here-to-fore I was posting on the Diet Club blog, but after Wahine dropped out, nobody was reading it, so now I'm going to do the accountability bit here. <

But who defines 'taste?' Me. And bad taste is going shopping at the mall and seeing a lady in her late fifties at about 250 lbs wearing fishnet for a shirt. Just. Fishnet. {shudder} After that experience, I'd say a simple pair of bondage boots are probably on the safe side. Conservative even. Actually t

You left out another fave, www.goarmy.com. I can't look back now, but... I guess I have another shot in just under four years. You've already got a government job. And the magic eight ball says Yes. to your question.

Ouch. I only did the urinary tract infection thing once, and that was enough for a lifetime. Get well quick.

I found my clarinet. I walked into a pawn shop yesterday and there it was. It glowed with a light from heaven and called my name. Wow. Not bad for seventy-five dollars. It's an old Carl Fischer (am I spelling that right?) wooden B-flat. Very nice. The cork's actually in great shape and the pads? Meh.........they could stand to be redone. Plus a couple of the

Well, it's that time again. Time to pull out the grand ideals and lie yourself silly. As if you really believed yourself anyways. Let's see how I fared on last years resolutions. 1. Eat out no more than once a week. Ennnnh. Thank you for playing. Care to try again next year? 2. Stay able to wear the same pair of pants. Surprisingly

Was he targeted because he was black? Or was he acting and behaving in a strange and suspicious manner? He's a member of the ACLU. That alone qualifies as strange and suspicious behavior in my book.

Well, you can tack the Spc back onto Spc NBS. I'm DEPed (delayed entry) back into the Army. I get to leave for beautiful Norfolk, Virginia on the 11th. Unsurprisingly, recruiter said it was stripes for skills, so naturally it's not. No easy promotion for me. Was told I would have the option of travelling by POV and my personal stuff/army gear, (yeah

how many guys would take out a sewing kit and try to mend their wife's clothing? Not too many I bet... A surprising number of soldiers and vets. If you're a soldier, there just always seems to come a time where you've got to sew something. Buttons on class A's, a patch that has to be there in a hurry fo

If you're going to bring back anyone bring back Erzebet Bathory and Gilles de Retz. Not a bad idea. Sadly, I don't think he fits their profiles. One killed young virgin girls, (and maybe bathed in their blood), the other one was into little boys. Really, I don't see Tookie as a young virgin maid. Okay

Reply By: anonymous Big words, for someone too chickenshit to even log in. What's unsubstantiated? His guilt? Let's see, he confessed on national tv, he was exposed by the chairman of the mizmedi hospital, and Seoul University conducted their own probe and said he cheated. Maybe the fa

This is NBS, reporting all the made up news that is news, here at JU. December 26, Los Angeles. Today, in the Christmas spirit of forgiveness, Californian Democrats entered a bill to have notorious Crips founder Tookie Williams brought back from the dead. Tookie Williams, a one-time weight lifter power lifter in the class of Arnold Swarzenheger, was co

Killing someone with a knife, spear or gun is murder and is tried that way..regardless of the weapon used. Oddly enough, while this is logical, it's not necessarily true. Legally there are several degrees of murder, including manslaughter. And often the differentiating factor? Who was killed,

The current system of the world is the White Man's System. Really? Somebody notify the system admins then. It's supposed to be all set up in my favor, right? I'm white, male, protestant, conservative and republican, and I still have to work my ass off at two jobs and am about to lose my house.

Strange but cool. Or warm rather. Where do you get your corn, the stuff for the deer from the local feed store?

And there were shepherds living in the fields nearby abiding their sheep by night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were sore afraid. But the angel said unto them, "Fear not, for I bring you tidings of great joy that will be for all people. For unto you is born this day in the City

People talk about how wrong it is to share music yet I know just about everyone has done it Nope. I haven't. And like the saying goes, if all your friends go and jump off a bridge, does that make it something you should do too? Stealing is wrong. If everyone does it? It's still wrong. Everyone

From what I found reading, the acidity in the vinegar acts as an antiseptic, in addition to clearing away a bunch of the mucus and crap on the outer surface of the upper respiratory stuff. It also slightly reduces the swelling. I'd also read just a couple of days ago in Runner's World that the zinc lozenges can take 3 to 5 days off of the length of the typical common cold. At any rate, I'm feelin' okely dokely for now. Enough so to maybe go run in a little bit. Of course, three days ag
