Well, I got a couple more hours anyway. And I tried my new remedy again this morning. Umm.....tastes like burning. Almost instant pain relief though. Then followed up with a zinc lozenge, sudafed, and ibuprofen chaser. Feeling no pain at the moment. I'm sure it's there, but I ain't feeling it. a hefty dose of Nyquil shou

Okay, test results are in. First thought? Holy Crap! That tastes worse than gasoline. And yes. I would know. Second thought, damn. That really worked. I'm going to keep it up. But in the meantime, I've got an appointment with the sofa.

How 'bout that? I made it 'til 2:30 a.m. this time. Okay, who's out there? I'm going to try to get back to sleep, but really, I don't see it happening. But first, I'm going to try an old home remedy, or a combination thereof. The main thing keeping me down is sore throat and a wicked cough. Every time I lay down, the mucus starts a flowin' down slow, so.....

It doesn't smell like cow crap where I live. Heh heh.....just west of base? Give it time. I know very well that the smell gets there too. Maybe not today, maybe not tommorow, but someday, and soon.

So, like transmission fluid and motor oil for a moisturizer, then exfoliate with fast orange? Also, there's a certain irony in lips lacking lipids..........

Some of the military folks on here I worked with will remember it. Ugly. Ughly. Green '92 Voyager minivan I had. Until today. It's gone. It's gone! Hoorah for Dixie! Hoorah!!! erm. yeah. I sold it today to a nice young Mexican from Matamordos. I only got 400 for it, but who cares? I was starting to think about giving it away. Amazingly, sick or not, I got it

I thoroughly enjoyed his books, and am very surprised that disney didn't mess with the Christian elements in the story. He also wrote a decent sci-fi trilogy, and I liked one he wrote that reminded me almost of the Pilgrim's Progress. However I especially like his non-fictional essays and speeches. When I can follow them, that is. Sometimes I understand them instantly, some take time for me to digest, and some lose me entire. <B

Is this why all the missionaries have been so enthusiastic the last couple of weeks? They seemed happier than usual about something. My theology differs greatly from the LDS, however I have a great deal of respect for the Mormons I have met over the years. Almost never have they failed to impress me with their tenacious dedication to evangalism and their faith, their manners, their humility, their clean cut appearance, and their quiet professi

There is absolutely no substance to this article whatsoever. I was just flipping through some of my favorite sites I haven't been to in awhile. (Insomnia is a great time saver.) I was on JibJab and found this. Link I can't link directly to it, but when you get their click on the Bush year in review, 2-0-5, right

Whereas I'm a 12-pack of Diet Dr. Pepper/day fiend. Ditto, less the diet. Although I'm reformed at the moment. We'll see how long that lasts........

Dear Lord, the old man's posting again. Now I've got to go back and edit my links, read the back-posts, etc. It must be the crisp, clean smell of West Texas air in the morning that did it. The smell of cow poo on a San Angelo winter morn would drive anyone back inside to their computer.

Good morning SPC, hope you get feeling better!! Was fine yesterday morning. My fever broke about two or three in the morning, felt great, my sinus' were clear, went running. And then about noon or so, it hit me like a ton of bricks. S'those frickin' pre-Ks my wife helps teach. Usually I don't

Just wondering who's up and on JU right now. I'm an influenza insomniac for the night; every time I lay down and start to get to sleep, I cough myself awake. I have no idea who's usually up this hour, so drop in and leave a line, say hi and the time where you are. It's just now hitting 5:00 a.m. central here, but I've been up for the last hour. Good morning.<

I dunno. I do know that I often hated the bland, uber-generic politically correct prayers at ceremonies, and at services on post, where doctrine often wasn't allowed, sometimes talking about Jesus wasn't allowed. I've been to Unitarian services that showed more commitment. I say crap or get off the pot. Are they allowed to preach or not?

That is VERY high. My resting's about 50, (which, admittedly, is a little low. S'cause of the running.) and only gets up around 150 when running at a good clip for awhile. Maybe why that's why you're thin too. Good grief. And good luck.

using pastel words to describe a taste is just so bland Funny, that's exactly how I feel about his music. Why do I hate it? Let me count the ways. It's easy listening. Blech. It has no rythm worth mentioning. Blech. It's soprano sax. Blech. (although I did like it's use in Purple People Eater and Retur
