"rad" is the new "cool" the new "cool"??? OMG, that takes me back, way back. Back to when I thought 25 was old, let alone anything past that. Nice post, btw, brings back memories...

a creepy dude is that the one about barbara? I've clicked on a couple articles and saw just enough to make me shudder before I hit the back button it was naughty and w
Wonderful post, Wahine. I had to say goodbye to my little brother this past May. He's actually closer geographically now than in many, many years, but my little brother got married in May. His wife is absolutely wonderful, as I should know, since we were best friends in college, but it's still difficult to think of my 21 (now 22) year old brother as old enough for marriage. It's hard to let go... My prayers go with your brother and sister-
I never use his name unless he's in trouble Actually, I use my husband's name all the time, but he doesn't call me by name much at all. In fact, he uses a nickname for me so much that several times he's called me that in public and gotten some very strange looks!
I don't think I'm really qualified as a geezer either, but I do identify with 9. When you don't really give a rats ass about any sports figure except to laugh when they are jailed. That might have something to do with the whole no tv thing, though.
if one partner is truly doing "everything" for too long, the relationship will eventually fail I do agree with this statement, and with the sentiments that Draginol expressed. I was not saying that my husband does everything all of the time. In fact, what I said was that <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95
Couldn't you just get an amp that has a louder 10? Yeah, I've asked that one too, and have been told that when we get an amp, it's got to be rewired so he can say, But th
Wonderful pics! And I do think JU is a wonderful way to alleviate boredom, which I have a lot of when sick and at home, since we have no TV.
Oh, almost forgot, I do have another nickname. A very important one: Mommy! Probably the best nickname in the world! Well, the name I go by, is really just a nickna
I love the name of your blog! Thank you! I was chatting on AIM with my brother the night I signed up--he gave me the name. Veiled innuendo regarding a nickname I explained in another article and the person who gave it.
I definately agree that you're not a doormat. As far as "splitting the chores", we've done that off and on in different situations to varying degrees of success and failure. For the majority of the time we've been married, we have either both worked or both been in school. During those times, we both worked around the house as well. In fact, my husband has probably done more work around the house than I have, even during the times that I wasn't wor
Are you sure it's not a reference to The Big Lebowski ? cool either way...
Any comments I would make have already been made, so I will keep it to--Nice post, I agree with you all the way!
There was a movie that I refused to see for several years because people kept quoting it whenever they found out what instrument I played. I finally gave in and watched it a year ago. And one time, at band camp.... Oh, and although I love pretty much anything from any Christopher Guest movie, this one I hear alot-- It goes all the way to 11!
Nice one, Wahine! Muggaz: I moved out of Arkansas several years ago, do I have to see pictures to remind me?
ROFL....kingbee, you are priceless!!!
O, be some other name! What's in a name? that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet... Some people believe that names are important and other don't. In fact, some people believe that names are as important as the objects they apply to and have a certain kind of power. We live in a society where names are no longer a descriptio
OMG.....just when I think we can't sink any lower! Okay, when we were kids we had imaginary friends that we created for ourselves. Now we've grown up and are too mature for that, so we'll have someone else make up the friend for us??? Maybe I'm reading it the wrong way, but that's how it strikes me...
Thank you all for looking and commenting. Hope you enjoyed! And maybe eventually there will be pictures less than 3 years old...
Here is a link to photos of SPC Nobody Special and myself. (Including his "boomstick") Hope you like! Link
Actually, a spaniel mix named Casper. Found his mom today with a few calls, and now he's home. Still, after this experience, I might actually enjoy having a dog someday...
Hello, Hello....and welcome.
i am attempting here to put words to my confusion and disconnectedness. Good luck...a lot of times when I try to write things out so as to better understand, all I succeed at is confusing myself even more. I hope you find it easier than I do. I will look forward to reading your posts.
Aauugghh!!!! I got a 60.5, with 5 points for the referring site, and a 20 point MOM BONUS!!! OMG! I am still not a mom! I'm not even 30 yet! I will admit, though, that I didn't listen to as much pop music during the 80's--I was a headbanger all the way. Most of the points I actually earned on that quiz were thanks to Bon Jovi, G-N-R, Poison, etc. Lots of fun anyway....
I think the whole post was pretty funny. Sometimes I almost think I can understand what our cats are thinking, but I'm not sure I want to. Especially with what they've seen...
