Talisman went a long way since the last time I tried it (about 3 or 4 years ago). I tried it last week again, just out of curiousity. I'm relatively impressed. But nothing you can't do with DX though.

Hey The Windows XP Default Drivers have support greater than 16 Colors Prolem is, Windows isn't loaded yet when Bootscreen is displayed.
, i totally didn't rename the file correctly i had just logonxp instead of badhair.logonxp   Are you blond by any chance?  Just kidding. I thought that was very funny. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 AL
Is a photo of a painting art? Personnally, I think art is a bit more than the expression of one's self through any medium I know some people who express themselves in some not-so-artfull manners. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/s
It's not because it requires a lot of time and effort that it's art. Heck, changing the breaks on my car fit those criterias, but I don't think it's art.
I once said this about Bryce renders, and it's just as valid about Apophysis:  a good Apophysis-based wallpaper would be one that you can't tell what software it was made with (or by).  If one can look at it and say "Oh, this is a nice Apophysis render", then it will be rejected.  One must look at it and say "OMG! I can't believe this was made using Apophysis!", only then will you be able to say YOU made the work, not the software. When it was a new thing, I guess we got c
There are two kinds of EXE widgets. The ones that doesn't require Desktop X running but needs DX installed (those widgets can be made with Desktop X standard - the 19.95$ version), and those that doesn't require Desktop X installed at all (those widgets can only be made by Desktop X Pro - the 129$ version or the 499$ version). With the free version, you can't make any widgets. I have the Standard version that can make non standalone widgets, but I don't have DX Pro. Check this char
XX: I can't seem to be able to download your XXSVGSaver program. When I click to download, it alaways bring me to this ProHosting page with this address in the location bar of Explorer: http://wave.prohosting.com/xxcoder/XXSvgSaver.zip  . Although the URL says ZIP, nothing is downloading.  Just gets stuck on that page.
Well, I rather they'd be no screensaver section. Unless, as somebody else mentionned, there was a Stardock program that allowed for non-executable screensavers. As it is, I have two issues regarding this: - malicious code (virii) - copyright issues A screensaver is not exactly something easy to make. How many people will actually build their screensaver from scratch?
Chris, for now, access to the beta is limited to Wincusomize subscribers only. Stardock product clients will be next.
Sorry Max, I didn't realise our email required an answer. I don't have DX Pro. As for permission, of course you have permission, I even sent you the PSD to modify as you wish. I thought it was clear.
Sport leagues make big money licencing the use of their teams' logos. And they will not give any permission for free, even if it's just for fan art.
Looks very cool.  Would be perfect if it supported Macs for the target computers. At work, I have to create hybrid CD's for widespread distribution all the time.
The Patriot Act allows the FBI to search without a warrant, and without notifying the subject. Actually, the Patriot Act makes it illegal for companies to notify you (for example, if the FBI comes at your workplace and search your work computer, your employer is not allowed to notify you neither before nor after). They can even arrest you without a warrant. Maybe they haven't done it yet, but the point is that they can . Anyway, I'm done on this topic here. I wil
What's the DU? Anyway, isn't it funny that if you value freedom you are tagged a leftie?  I thought the communist left was supposed to be anti-freedom. Read about the Patriot Act my friend, and about the second one coming.  Visit the ACLU's website (American Civil Liberties Union), and see how your civil liberties are being attacked.  www.aclu.org/SafeandFree/
Fine, dismiss it as crazy talk. I'm judging the men by what they've done, not by what they are saying. The talk is patriotic, but the actions are anti-democratic (or borderline fascist). "Restricting personal freedoms and controlling all the key industries in order to have control over society" has already started.
Kona: no, there was a war already called the "the Gulf War" before the first attack on Iraq. It was the Iraq (&US) vs Iran (&USSR) war. Operation Desert Storm would be the second Gulf war and this one the third. Island Dog: If you read my previous posts, you will see that I am not refering to the traditionnal Republicans, but to a new breed of Republicans that some have started to call te Neo-Republicans.  I used to think that Republicans and Democrats were reall
Gadwin Printscreen: http://www.gadwin.com/printscreen/ It's free and extremely handy. You can cacpture the full screen or only a specific area. You can copy the capture to the clipboard, or output it directly to the printer, send it by email or automatially save it to a given directory. And it's free.
It's a customizable right-click on the desktop menu. Some screenshots have been posted on this other thread about it: https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WC&id=312375 It's multilanguage in the sense that you set the name of the menu items yourself. So if you write them in French, they'll be in French.
I don't think you support Rumsfield's gang's true foreign and domesic policies, Brad. And if you do, then you would be one, yes. Their true policy is to rule the World, and the country. No more democracy, no more freedom. Big Brother.
Thing is, Irak never had WMP after "Operation Desert Storm" (not to confuse with the first Gulf war, which is a different story altogeter - although not totally unrelated). A new report just came out confirming that Iraq didn't have any WMP since 1992. Saudi Arabia is the place that should have gotten hit, and still is actually.
No, I think Kerry got carried into the fear propaganda following 9/11. After a drama like that, you trust your leader and hope for the best.   I don't think Kerry would have went to war in Iraq because Kerry has no interest in Iraq, Kerry has no dream about World domination. The war in Iraq was not about terrorism nor about 9/11. If it truly was, it would have been Saudi Arabia that would ave been attacked, not Iraq. Terrorism and WMP were just the pretext the extreme-right wingers&nb
I wonder why the democrats chose Kerry to represent them. He's ugly as sin and it's a known fact that ugly people aren't usually as popular. For some reason, ugly people come out a untrustworthy.
From what I saw, it seems it will all come down to a flaky voting system in Florida. Really strange how may yet again come down to questionable results in the state where Bush's brother is governer... Brad, I don't have a problem with you, I have a problem with the almost-fascists neo-republicans that Bush follows.
