Really both sites are very important to the skinning community. I can't believe we're even discussing the merits of one over the other. They both have their place, and are diverse in the information they share.I would be lost without access to both sites, as I'm sure quite a few others here would be as well. I hope soon the conflicting words and disparaging remarks, from both sides will end , as it lowers the respect outsiders who come into these sites have for the hard work both site'

I used to use it, till I was hacked. I had one of the coveted six digit #s, some guy from russia yanked it out from under me and started flooding my list and other lists with porn. I gave it up for a year, went back ended up witha number so long I couldn't remember it, and like you all my friends were no longer using it. I do miss it though. Was a fun program, and a big step up from powwow.(another proggie I miss)

I started with wb, and later purchased the whole package. I haven't been sorry yet. I don't use the whole package, but the components I do use are invaluable to me. like windowsfx,iconpackager,stardockcentral,tab launchpad,and occasionally dx. I must also note, that while the original price is steep, with renewal the price drops, so it's like a thank you for your original purchase. paxx, if you have a slideshow db on your hard drive, connected with some photoimaging software or another, could you make a copy of that show and paste it onto a dx object? the coding would already be there to make it run, if you have the program installed, you'd just have to find a way to reduce the size of the images to fit the area you assign it.... or am I tilting at windmills again...??

Dabe, someone made a WP a short time ago, that had instructions for inserting your own pic into the "frame" it was really classy looking too.
