Frogboy, you'd be a great politician with the spin you guys put on everything. A simple complaint about moderation escalates gradually from complaints about how much money is coming out of someones personal pocket, which has nothing to do with an overworked moderator, to me being basically told to get out and start my own site. I'll keep my opinions to myself from now on.

There really doesn't seem to be much "popularity". It's pretty nice..I could never get it to d/l from their link so they sent me a link by email and a nice comment. But there are only 10 uploads in the library, most by the author of the program, I believe, or someone related...and nothing new since the 7th has been uploaded there.Maybe it will pick up or something else more popular will show up in it's place. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smi

It's a bonus now? That ought to be printed in the sales brocures. And of the 62 posts pending, maybe 15 or 20 of which were posted this morning, 3 were rips AND one wasn't even a logonxp file...it was an .exe file that could contain WHO KNOWS WHAT kind of harmful files and do major damage to a lot of computers. People do look after others, and as I said, I informed the creator of the logon wall, he didn't persue it. I've informend many others here and on other sites of rips. I feel my responsibility in those cases is to inform the creator of the work and from there it is up to them. Stockholm Syndrome, the creator of the wall in the logon was informed and didn't persue it. It wasn't my part to any more but tell him, I wasn't the one that was ripped. That was just one example that I was familiar with.

People do do their 'bit' to help, but all the rest about the cost for this and the cost for that are just part of running a business. And when you say that it is costing "You" such and such, that was your decision either when you took the job or kept it when it was determined that "you" would pay for it and not the company. I guess my main point was that by just saying "Thanks" the the artist or "Permission included" that is pretty much an unstated license to rip if you do it once and it works, or somebody sees somebody else do it and it works. And there may be 62 works pending, but how many will go up in a day, and how long does it take to check for a permission? It seems there would be more than enough time. For a site that puts so much emphasis on including permission on works of others that you have used as a basis for your own creations, there are still skins getting on that should never have made it past the moderators if they had checked. I'd like to say "more thoroughly" but obviously "not at all" is what happens far too often. Start sysmetrix, right click the skin and click on "Sysmetrix Configuration", click "Preferences",and check "Startup Automatically". Hope that halps.

It sounds like there might be something wrong in the Logon itself. Line 365 refers to something in the logon itself that is not right. Have you tried a different logon? If it only happens on one particular logon I would use another and delete the one that is creating the problems. If it is on all logons, I would uninstall Logon Studio and reinstall it and try again, using a different logon than the one that was causing the problem. Hope that helps <im

Sure. Just download and install Logon Studio Link , it's a free program, and open the help or tutorial and it will walk you through making a basic logon. It's pretty easy and I think you will enjoy making it. Have fun

And one other thing to save a step or a bit of confusion. If it is a .logonxp file, just double-click on it and it will install itself in Logon Studio. No need to right click it and open with Logon Studio.

It seems to be a bad build. What worked for me was to go to Add/Remove programs, click on Stardock Central, and click "Change". It will start an unstall and give you the options "Automatic", "Custom", or "Repair". Choose repair and it will go back to the last build before the update. The next time you open Stardock Central, say NO to updating it and calmly wait a couple days for a bug free build. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Laugh.gi

It does for me...I believe you just have to make sure messenger is set to it's "Classic" skin and not "Indigo" or "Maverick blue". I never changed anything in WindowBlinds to allow it, but there may be a setting there. I'm sure somebody else will be along shortly if that doesn't do it for you.

Yeah bluesman, it makes sense. I know your site well at DA and they will post everything, which is great. But you won't find nearly the amount of skins there that they have here. It's just a different kind of site. I find lots of things there also that I don't find here. If you were uploading a Rainlendar or an icon or a Widget, it would get posted as long as it's not a rip. But if you want to see most of your walls accepted here, it's going to happen

Heya bluesman...here is a link that explains the Access classes Link basically if you are around here for a while and contribute skins or help in the forums or just in general, you access level will go up. That said, the wallpaper section here is a whole different situation from what I see and the most heavily moderated library on the site. If you try to second guess what you see being accepted
