I don't know Hippie, I never ever use the wall that comes with a blind. A big part of creating a desktop for me is finding a wall that goes with the blind and is something different than what everybody else might use. Also, I would guess a whole lot of the skinners don't really make wallpapers and don't want to..that's not what interests them. And many also don't make Rainlendar skins, which to a skinner should be easy compared to a Windowblind skin. I

Yeah, but Kona hasnt been around today, so how did you know? Maybe he's still installing those 7 Windows updates he still needs even though he doesn't use SP2
I've lost the menu's a few times. It does seem to happen occasionally. I now make a copy of the rightclick.ini file and also the desktopmeun.obbar file...not sure if you need them both, but it works for me if Rightclick loses the menu.
Grrr, double post.
Yeah, I looked before I posted before and didn't find any system requirements page, but I did find a few things like this: DesktopX 3 is designed to make doing all this easier than ever and adds a ton of new features. Moreover, DesktopX Pro supports creating stand-alone programs called "gadgets". So now you can take your creations, export them as a gadget and give them to anyone running Windows 2000 or XP (and soon Longhorn). So tha
Is there an XP version in the works?
If you use a wallpaper or image that someone else made, include permission in the file. It's also nice to give a link to that person's work in the description. Copywrited wallpaper or images usually won't pass moderation, but I've see some I thought would get rejected, so submit it and the worst that can happen will be that it not approved. If you use your own wallpaper, just go ahead and submit it. Logons are moderated for quality, but that's somethin
As far as I've seen, it will only work on Windows 2000 or XP.
I haven't tried the tabs yet but I'll take the ten dollars from Master Apprentice causticFX

Yeah, I don't know Island Dog, I just updated it after seeing your post. 1.43 mb update and that is all it was for me, and no reboot needed...not sure what's happening on yours.
I think they do the small update only on the incremental updates, an a, b c, 01, 02 etc. When it is a new version...such as 2.99c to 3.099, they do the full update...I may be wrong, but I do get smaller updates of other programs when it's not a new version number.
Also, to change the icons in a package you are not using, just click on the icon package you want to change icons in and hit the load button, then when you click on the icons and cursors button, it will display the icons in that new package.
Anyway... as confirmed above -- Stardock REMOVED the feature "Change Icon." Hmmm....seems I just showed you where it is. It's not removed and I have the newest version. It may not be where it used to be, I never used it much, but it is where I said in comment #4. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc
That's cool, sometimes they do tend to get answered faster in the forums. But large fonts and caps are considered the same as yelling and just not really good "Forum Manners" if there is such a thing And don't feel like an idiot when things post twice....sometimes it happens four or five times to people that use the forums alot...it's just something that happens
People tend to listen more when they're not yelled at.
This is June 9th, it has a date of June 4th, I imagine it was in the new skins section on the 4th or 5th, depending when it was put in the library. A ton of new skins have been uploades since then, more than 100 actually since yours doesn't show in the firt one hundred. Sometimes new skins are put on the site in a bunch, and since only 10 show on the main page of the newest skins, it may never have shown there. I uploaded a logon yesterday, it went on
I don't know, tried mine and it spiked at 22% for about 4 seconds and then was loaded. Maybe try to uninstall and reinstall it, or someone may have the same problem. Good luck
lpworld, if you open Icon Packager and click on the "Icons and Cursors" tab, it will show you the icons in a package by a row of tabs on the top of the window...Desktop, Start, Folders, etc. On the bottome there is a "Change Icon" button allowing you to browse other packages or anywhere on your computer to change the icon.Hope that helps and Try not using such a damn big font next time.
I just installed it after reading about all the problems because I was bored and damn....it works fine...now I gotta find something else to do.
That's a really good point, Koasati, there are usually tons of things I don't want or already have...the option to just update the program would be nice. I'm on dsl, the time to download is no big thing, but it takes longer to delete icon packages and windowblind skins than installing the update.
What do you get when you cross a roadie with a drummer?....an even Dumber roadie... Damn I miss the rock and roll life...roadies and drummers were always at the top of the list for a good joke or two (Hides from
