Interesting. When Fences is running correctly, the top item when you right-click the desktop should be either "Enable Fences" or "Configure Fences" and you have neither. Please contact support at https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Tickets/Submit

Ah. Thank you! What you describe in your video is a windows function, not a Fences one. Right click on empty desktop Select View Uncheck "Auto arrange icons"

If you are using Start10 you can see your Fences in the "All Programs" section. Also, ObjectDock does what you describe. Have you tried that?
