Gee - I think I have just discovered I'm normal! Keep telling myself I have to stop doing this and get some work done (of course that was 3 hours ago and completely forgot about the work). Even got my husband interested in this stuff. Of course he doesn't skin, but he sure is a good critic. And yes, I too, have said I was going to take a break, but somehow I end up toying around with something and before I know it it's a skin. Oh, well.....the saga continues.

Welcome to the club.
All demos or trial versions are on www.stardock.com
Sorry, no freebies here - only trial versions. It's well worth the money.
It can be found at www.stardock.com
Yes, and it implies that you have to be an apprentice or above to comment on skins. I see a lot of citizen comments. O well, I guess its just a guide.
In the about section of WC, it says nonmembers and exiles can down load 7 and above.
(paxx) We have a cannon(old) BJC -7000 and I didn't see it on the list. I might have read it wrong. Even thou it is slow, I like the way it prints color photos and I don't want to spend the money buying another printer.
Thanks feline, sounds really easy.
Thanks feline. I hope hubby doesn't read this one.
Speaking of embracing one's own ignorance - please reply to ours in Windows 2000 and tell us how to do it. Finally got him to agree on XP and don't want to miss it by giving him enough time to change his mind.
Beats me. You keep blowing my mind. I wish you would stick to something simple. I guess I might as well go join the others at the brick (chocolate?) wall.
Well, Conquest10, I envy you. Mine crashes at least 3, 4, or more times a day. I have 768 mgs ram, but when working on graphics it seems to take its toll big time. Plus it doesn't help when you keep trying to do things it doesn't like. I tax it to the max!
PS. If we only had one computer I would never get on it. Hubby.
Feline. We have seperate computers. Both have duel hard drives. Both C drives have me on them. If I get XP I will put them on the D drives. How would I set them up? By the way, this is hubby. You can post the info or email us. Thank You.
Uh..(?)...okay...(?).., whatever you say.
I'll have my hubby read your comment - makes sense to me. I use mine for games (c) drive and graphics (d) drive. Of course all my programs are on the (c) drive (including Corel & Wordperfect), but I did move Jasic Pro to the (d) drive. My cd-writer, scanner and printer programs are all on the (c) drive. (We just added the (d) drive.) My c drive is 40 gigs but now down to 21 gigs and hubby said I was filling it up too fast so he added the d drive which is a 45 gig drive and I moved all my gr
Well, I called Microsoft and they said all they had was the 2000 Pro Edition (did not make a home edition), but we would run across the same problem with it as far as hardware as with the XP, but also informed me that they are updating their hardware list - so to make a long story short - guess I'll have to ride it out with ME a bit longer. Thanks for all the help. I was hoping for a quick fix.
Tried the Pricewatch, but all they list is Windows XP home - back to square one.
Thank you guys sooooo much. Can't wait to dump ME!
I have been wanting to purchase the Windows 2000 Home Edition upgrade and get rid of this awful ME (which keeps crashing), but can't seem to find it anywhere. Searched the net and everything. Hubby won't upgrade to XP because we would have to replace the scanner, printer, etc. too so he compromised for the 2000, but now I can't find it. Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase it or are they just not offering that anymore?
Might look in your closet on the floor or hidden in a corner. Things usually turn up here in those locations. They never seem to stay on a hanger. Slippery little dudes (especially cloaks). Well, got my tools skinned back in Jasic (didn't even do with windowblinds, duh!), but I still have the font issue being off in Jasic and also on the cube on my tray. Sure was happy about getting my skinned buttons back. Now, I wish I could get the font issue taken care of. I have no problem if
I would recommend buying the full Object Desktop. This will allow the most flexablity in accomplishing your goal.
How can one improve if all someone does is give you a poor rating but doesn't comment? You do not know if something is wrong with your skin or if they just didn't like your color scheme.
Thanks feline, you saved the day. Made a note out of what you told him. Something else to learn and look into (may have been doing it all along not knowing exactly what I was doing - usually learn by experimenting but don't ask me what I've done after I've done it - if any of that makes sense).
