Correct. Combat will be resolved in a spawned first person shooter window.
Man, that sounds awesome. If Brad hadn't been running with the same joke, I'd say take care. This being the internet, someone's bound to take you seriously.
There's really no reason not to in this case.
Well, there is one. I haven't been playing as much as I used to so it's meaningless. For me the game is pretty much EOL as unless something fantastically awesome happens (expansion or sommat) I don't really plan on getting into it again.
how do you get version 1.19 ? "update game" on the the game's menu doesn't work, and on impulse there is no "update" button, I'm still on 1.11, and the game keeps crashing
Enable betas. The 1.19 tree is just a precursor to 1.2
I'd go for AI fixes. I play LAN play with my brother when hes home and its stupid how often we notice AI generals literally doing nothing. I've hesitated on installing the mods, because generally I don't mod anything.
Forgot to mention I picked Disciples 3 up on sale so I'll be downloading that next. Plus I got some Mass Effect 2 DLC but I'm not sure how much of the game I want to play again to go in on it. I have three characters and I don't even remember why :p since I only finished with one of em. I'm waiting for some Dragon Age 2 DLC to play more of that.
Hoard. Risk: Factions. You Don't Know Jack. Atom Zombie Smasher. Just finished Lost Planet a little bit ago so I'm redownloading LP2.
Story - "eh" so far. I like the quality of the cut scenes but so far there hasn't been enough combat and too much talking. But then I'm just starting. Also these games need to be "I come from nothing and save the word" epics. It's just what they are.
It is epic, but you have to get past the 'come from nothing' part to see any of that. As I said, I found the first part kinda borin
This Gamespot acquisition has the potential to change Impulse for the better, to allow it to really compete. Will it? I don't know. In the short-term, it seems to have had a negative impact; the news has been very poorly received by the community. In the long term, though, Gamespot certainly has the resources to transform Impulse. Just pray they make the right changes. Gamespot already has a long history of alienating its customers, and its all
I just finished the game around an hour ago. I gotta say...that was fantastic. The only part of the game I felt dragged its feet was the beginning. After the expedition everything got awesome. The only complaint I really had (other than the slow start) was the map re-use was admittedly way too obvious. Very strange ending though. Curiouser and curiouser indeed.
EA's first attempt at a digital store did exactly that. It went poorly.
Actually I don't think it did. AVG had this problem also - I don't know if Digital River gave them a reason to offer the option or what but that completely useless 'spend money to redownload the product' thing was all Digital River from what I've seen.
I'm wondering how someone willing to spend a whole lot of money to get in a market they left is a 'big threat'. That's resources that would not have been in the PC gaming market if they'd continued on their existing path. I don't know if Stardock even had the resources to expand Impulse in the ways I wanted (voice chat and other functional weaknesses compared to Steam) but I know I wasn't seeing any progress.
I know right. Imagine if Stardock became a company that had a hugely successful store to rival that of Valves which allowed you guys to work on whatever projects you wanted.
And imagine how much more staff they'd have had to hire. How much more distracted they would get from the things they would prefer to be doing. Which they can do right now instead of in another three to six years! How awesom
Not to mention that Stardock built Impulse and still has a vested interest in it continuing to succeed. It would look horrible for Stardock if Gamestop destroyed something they built, as their name will still be attached to it indirectly. If they started selling via Steam, it'd be like saying "Have this awesome software we built. Now piss off."
I buy games from any end of the spectrum if they're good. My current Atom Zombie Smasher fetish being a good example [e digicons][/e]
Yeah I actually found a girl who's not that different from me except for having a more sordid past and kids or sommat...and she's currently in jail [e digicons]X|[/e] I give up.

So far I can agree with that. I'm guessing (this being a Sims game heh) there will be plenty of expansions to liven things up.
