windows 8 64-bit wb8 trial version it matters not what skin i apply, the text on the right side of the Start8 start menu is black. i've rebooted 3 times and the text remains black. on dark skins, the text is near to impossible to read.

8 isn't a good desktop os? i'm using it on my desktop just fine. do i have a touchscreen monitor? nope. i do have a logitech touchpad that i use instead of a mouse these days. i can make the finger swipes and gestures just like a touchscreen would enable. 8 works like a charm here. jafo, i respect your opinion on most things but not on this. it seems you're attempting to make those of us who like and use 8 that we are wrong in doing so. also, i highly doubt kona ha
linux still sucks. do ya know why? i don't use it therefore it must suck. ios sucks, too. so does osx, android, chrome os and all other operating systems i don't use. that's pretty much the gist of this thread, along with the other win 8 and wp8 bashing threads. those of us who do use and like win8 and/or wp8 must be idiots.

it'll be interesting to see how wb and start8 get along when a version of wb for win8 is released. i can guarantee i'll buy this skin if and when wb8 is released altho i'm in the desktop environment maybe 50 percent of the time nowadays. that is unless you radically change that start menu.
