I think it is good. Also, if you get AP you will be able to play the betas of GC2.
Citizen PassingBye, doing that sort of thing might get you promoted to Veteran.
That would be a nice side benefit. But I think that editing text would be easy for us to do. I just don't know how hard it is to integrate back into the source code.
1001101, I believe that you have a "full version". What you are asking for are improvments to that full version. suggest you buy AP. that will get you the upgrades you want to GC. Or better yet, buy a subscription to TotalGaming.net and get all the games available that come out in the year, about 12 so far. This would also get you the early betas of GC2. I believe you can purchase it with a credit card at their site.
CariElf, Can we set up something that allow us, your loyal fans, to fix, rewrite, or improve the text areas and provide them to you in a way that it takes minimal effort to include the fixes in the game?
Great work, PP. This should go in the Embassy when it comes back up. :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:
link you provided is to the "Star Wars" mod..
Sorry, got my "stars" mixed up.
Well, I picked up a Star Trek mod from somewhere. Perhaps on another site. It is a beta and not yet complete, but complete enough to download. Maybe it was here, but I haven't had time to look http://www.cdgroup.org/forums/tbs/gc/index.php?h=1&pf=89&sid=0bce481e85d55ef39b13c673976ccb14
Yes, the mod is available from the Library.
Mace, the library is back, but when you sort on "all" and "updated" you only get the "improvements". All the individual types work, but not "all"
A recent review of serveral of my games shows that the AI tend to take one of three parties: Evil Party, Scientologist Party, or (I forgot the last party, but it started with a P... and was a mod as well).
I had a trade route to it.. and it still exists after I gained control of the planet..
This was true in previous versions as well. You could often pick up existing trade routs that continue to operate.
Also, did you regester your player name with the AP serial number? On the Metavers page, click on the register button to the left and check if the serial number is you GC or AP serial number. Your AP games won't submit without that number, but if you play GC they will continue to submit.
There are quite a few Canadians that own and play the game. There is in fact an Empire of Canadians - the CSF. To visit, click on the Empires button on the left and visit their forum thread.
You don't say what level of difficulty, but the higher the level of difficulty, the more "cheats" the AI employ so that they can do things that you never could by following the rules. It may be that their production rate is high enough at the difficulty you are playing that they can crank out a ship per turn with the same cost it would take you over several turns.
I never spy and at Maso have never had this event.
For the first 30 days it is the sum of the raw scores divided by the square root of the number of games. After that, look in the treads that talk about metaverse scoring. It gets complicated.
SB with culture influence decrease in influence as you move from sector to sector. But the influence is still there several sectors away, just not very strong. If you go to the top right of the main screen you will se a small button that will tell you the influence of all the races for that sector.
Icho Talot may be able to point you to a site.
