How do you back up all settings and menus for Start11 before a format?
Litcube
Take a look at StartIsBack's implementation. They have an XL mode for the taskbar and they manage to get the icons super crisp. Even at the largest size with Start11, which is very small on a 4K monitor @ 100% scale, the icons are distorted/blurry.
Are you sure that isn't the case without Start11 too?
You're absolutely right. I uninstalled Start11 and tried again, and Windows 11 still freaks out. Thanks for listening.
Automatically hide taskbar is still broken. Try running a game, or using wallpaper engine in the background to reproduce.
Or just make a fences for start menu...
Dude, yes!
Auto-sort pinned within a group would be absolutely amazing!
I have the same issue. Setting auto-hide crashes explorer and doesn't set. Anyone have any suggestions? Burn in is a consideration here.
Roll ups have to be on top of all other windows, otherwise there's no point. Fences are supposed to be for convenience. EDIT: Also, hiding shortcut arrows currently doesn't work for links to Windows UWP apps.
Has anyone enabled Gsync with GalCiv 3? Is it supported?
Is there one? If not, why not?
You don't think the text "STATDEC_LegonsAvailable" showing in the tooltip is a bug?
What's this tooltip supposed to mean? I just installed GalCiv 3 and started the campaign. I'm on turn 6. Never touched a mod. Did I experience a bug already?

I'm in a battle with Tarth, and the leader is in the battle. Killed everyone but her. But no one can seem to attack her except my melee units. Archers can't attack her (tooltip no attack symbol when you hover the mouse cursor over her). When I try to cast a spell on her, tooltip says: you must target enemy units. She is an enemy unit. Is this a bug?
The governor queue does not auto-update with new tech as BoogieBac has indicated in his original post as of 2.03.
Dudes, can you help? The planetary governor is a must have on large maps. So when I was playing today, I had 200 or so planets building away, all set to various governors. When I researched a new item, Manufacturing Center, and then in quick succession, Industrial Sector. I went back to check my planets, and everything was totally messed up. There were 5 industrial sectors in planets where the Manufacturing Center wasn't built yet.

Does this not handle maps larger than a certain size? I'm trying to open certain maps, and the one's with a lot of planets (450+ or so) aren't loading.
+ FIXED: Planetary governors now update build queue after planet quality/terraforming changes I think this broke the governors handling of terraforming. I have several planets where the governors aren't terraforming automatically, yet some did.
+ NEW: Added option to popup governor wnd (if there are governors) on colonization of a planet
This is awesome, and a required addition. There's a problem, though. That pop-up, has everything else in the background faded out so you can't see the stats of the planet you're colonizing. This is a problem because we generally base which governor to use on the PQ. When the background is faded, we can't see the PQ.
+ Queues auto-update when a better version of an improvement is unlocked It does? Not for me.
Anyway, I did a file compare using a 3rd party utility. Inexplicably, Stardock's tech editor added this to Adamantium armour: Adamantium Armour II That was causing the crash. Remember, all I did was open Terran's tech tree, rename it and save.
Hrm. I've searched for a while, here, and the abysmal search function isn't turning up anything of use. Anyway, I did a file compare using a 3rd party utility. Inexplicably, Stardock's tech editor added this to Adamantium armour: Adamantium Armour II That was causing the crash.
Copy Terran's tech tree file. Rename the file. Open it in the tech editor. Change the name of the tech, both internally, and display. Save the tech. Start a new game using a custom race with the new tech tree you just made. Watch the crash. (Editing the xml file, the new tech tree, manually with a text editor doesn't cause the crash).
I'm getting the same issue, so I originally thought it was my bad. So I simply copied the Terran tech tree, renamed it with no other changes, and the game is still crashing when loading the map.
