Yeah. I tried that too. Still, it's time consuming. Are there hotkeys for "buy" and "Accept"?

IS it possible to purchase multiple improvements at the same time instead of clicking on the colony, going into the colony, selecting the building, clicking buy, rinse, repeat?
I emphatically second that request, prokto!
Well if that's the case, Linthar, why am I not seeing 2/19 modules installed to account for every possible future module installation?
When I begin the game, I try to build starbases on mining resources. I build a base, and then two mining modules. Thing is, the starbase details screen tells me "2/3 modules built". So I send another constructor there, and a pop-up screen tells me "There are no new modules available to be installed, etc." Huh?
Dudes, did this work for you?
I've been going through the whole tech tree to mod the research text into something a little more informative, and I'm finding a bug in almost every branch of research. Missing requirements for starbase modules seems to be most common. But there are also inconsistencies in naming conventions, spelling errors, misplaced weapons, etc. The one I mentioned above was the most obvious.
I... And in other news, the Spin Center: "Ships in orbit around this appear 5 times mightier than they really are thus making your military might seem greater to potential foes. Aliens tend to look at how strong we are militarily before deciding to go to war. This special building will make our ships in orbit appear twice as strong." So which is it? 5x or 2x? In all seriousness, does no one else find these errors baffling at version 1.2?
Also, where the hell is Beam Multipler Field II? There's I, III, IV, etc.
The Beam Intercepter [sic, for $#%^@ sake] require Battlestations. The Energy Grid and Missile Defender, on the other hand do not. All three are unlocked in the same tech. Should they all require Battlestations?
Here's an example of what I'm working on. In the original tech description, the writer states that the Ion Drive actually moves faster than the HyperDrive Plus. Of course, this isn't true (the latter is simply smaller). I'm not going to pack it full of ridiculous detail. I'm in pursuit of verisimilitude, not nerdy fiction. "The Ion Drive is an advanced stage engine superior to the HyperDrive Plus. Using brand new technology, we've designed an engine completely unlike previous ite
Those tech descriptions are great. Get a life. Airtight argument, silpheed.
When you research a new technology, and your research robot is waving his arms around, it'd be nice to see the benefits of what you've just researched. From what I gather that window on the right only displays two things: ability bonuses & new ship designs. Of course, most techs lend greater benefits such as new ship components, buildings, starship modules, invasion tactics, and so on. Is there a way to modify that right hand window to display all this information? Or am I stuck w
Porcupine, Actually, the only assertion I thought one could reasonably garner from my comment was that I believe the flavour surrounding the technology takes away from the atmosphere of the game. Regarding the above, I was also being generous. Grammatical errors aside, I get the feeling that some of this text was rushed out the door; it feels tacked on at best.
Has anyone bothered to rewrite the atrocious technology details? The text that shows up when you've researched a new technology? I mean, it really takes me out of the game when I'm quite immersed in the sci-fi atmosphere, and my technology director informs me: "Shield defense is good. It keeps us from getting hit with stuff. And junk. Look, marketing has the day off and someone had to finish the description." I mean, come on.
I'm not sure what you just said, but the "all ships head for the far left corner" sounds interestnig. Is that a confirmed bug?
I'm getting this bug again. I have no ships anywhere near the borders of my logitics. The screen telling my that the ship can't go outside its range pops up for every ship I own. Of course, there's no telling exactly which ship the screen is talking about, I get one screen per ship in space. I'm not running any mods. Clearly a bug.
Thanks dudes.
Wait - Which is the colony management button?
Thank you!
Is the only way to rename a planet from the galaxy main screen? I mean, isn't there a way to do it when viewing your colony (building tiles screen)?
I don't have any ships trying to get outside my range, yet every turn, I get this message saying, "We can't travel that far. Our range doesn't extend far enough..." Any ideas?
It seems as though when you're sorting the planets by military production (F1), your planets that are actually the large military powerhouses are at the bottom of the list if they're not building any military units. Is there any way to sort by *potential* military production? As it stands, this sort is kind of useless.
Is it possible to mod the shortcut keys for the interface in this game?
I'm having the same problem with version 1.2
