I do keep a notebook and a pen next to my bed just in case I have a good idea, a story or sometimes a song in my sleep. I also have a digital recorder by my bed.

I agree with Tova. Even borderline thyroid problems are still problems. Of course, I'm sure you have LOADS of time to go to the doctor and get things checked out. And you aren't being overly negative. The majority of the time, you're underly negative, which means you have tons of bitching points saved up. And, even though your situations are caused by choices in the past, you can't change the past. Since you can't change the past, which

I had a habit of not paying attention when I was little. I wouldn't wander off, but I wouldn't notice when my parents left. I'm pretty sure they let me think I was lost for a while at some clothing store in the mall. This nice old man noticed me frantically searching the clothes racks for my parents and pointed them out to me (I couldn't see above the racks). They didn't seem worried, so I'm sure they did it on purpose. Taught me a lesson, though. I kept up with my parents after that. <img

You are really crankin' out the articles It's called, "I don't want to write my papers, but I can't seem to put my computer down." I think you'll find that any time I have a paper due, the number of articles I write increase dramatically. I have 5 days of classes and 4 days of finals and then I'm on summer break.

"Far, far away, Someone was weeping, But the world was sleeping, Any dream will do." Hey Gid, there are worse songs out there. If I'm going to be damned, I'm going to get something really bad stuck in your head... "It's a small world after all... It's a small world after all..."

I've had a really good weekend, and I felt the need to share. (I'm also stalling and avoiding my papers... but who cares?) Friday was a lovely day. I had some fun, interesting conversations, classes went by pretty fast, and it was a Friday --'nough said. That night, I went out for Taco Bell, drove around a bit (waste of gas, but rolling down the windows an

I only got the introduction from my dream, but every little bit helps. And now I have "Any Dream Will Do" from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat stuck in my head.

Sorry Zoo. One of these days, you'll find a girl who likes the knight in shining armor. But I gotta tell you, when a girl has been in Relationship Purgatory, the guys who try to help her right afterwards often get stuck in Living Hell. You could always be direct and say, "I like you, and when you're ready, I'd like to date you." but I realize that's putting yourself pretty far out there, and that's dangerous. Of course, you could just avo

As soon as she sets the final date and time, I plan to back out. And, since it is the truth that I will be living elsewhere and may not be able to get to wherever the wedding will be, it should "set me free". After all, my only job is to read a poem... I'm thinking she can find someone else to do that. Quick question, though: Don't brides typically ASK their friends to be bridesmaids and ASK if they'd be willing to read something at the wedding? I wasn't asked, she just assumed I

If you are related to me by blood and you put a fork near an outlet with indicative gestures that imply pending electrocution, I will spank you. I was only spanked twice in my life... and it was enough. My parents had different forms of punishment, and learned that taking my radio and books away from me was even worse for me than a spanking. Thing i

though at this late stage I doubt I would rework the entire paper around it. Don't you hate when that happens? You think of something great, but it's too late to change stuff. Ick. I do that when I take a shower. My mind works on solutions when I'm taking a long nice shower! A friend of mine used to keep a dry erase marker in the shower to work out problems because she said her mind worked better there

Oh, and I'm not mean enough to say, "I don't like you as a friend as much as you like me as a friend." It's not like she's done anything evil to me. I might say something like that to the ex boyfriend, but not to someone that hasn't been mean to me. There's no need to make her feel bad or to make myself feel better by being mean to her. I just figured I'd tell her I couldn't be in the wedding, then get busy with school (which is going to happen) and let nature take its course.

Haha. No, I'm one of six or seven bridesmaids... so I'm not her only friend. She's in a sorority, she loves people in the music department, she loves people in the English department. That's actually one reason I'm sure I can phase myself out... she makes friends so easily, that I doubt I'd be hard to replace. If I thought I was her only friend, I wouldn't be so callous about things. I do find it odd that she thinks we're so close, but it's not because I'm the only person willing

I don't blame you for calling the cops... if there's even the slightest chance that she was taken, the sooner you call, the better. Smart thinking. That being said, I'm glad she was only off playing. Your heart must have been in your throat ready to explode. You poor thing.

No, I haven't seen the show, and this isn't a review of it. I'll probably watch it when it comes on TV, but I don't think it's started yet. Instead, I saw a preview for it, and it got me thinking. At one point, the man who has ditched Debra Messing says to her, "I'm falling in love with you all over again." and she looks back at him and says, "You had your

I know this girl that I would call a friend, though not a close friend. She's more a friend of convenience. It isn't that I don't like her or anything, but we would not "hang out" this much if circumstances were different. You see, my best friend graduated in December and moved to Florida, leaving me all alone. Since I'm pretty much a hermit, I didn't thin

Back in high school, I was in a production of "Oklahoma!". I played Ado Annie. (Somehow, I'm always typecast as the slut... I don't know why that happens. But I digress) The week before the show, I began to rehearse in my sleep. I would go through the entire show in my dreams, often waking myself up singing. I knew everyone's lines, blocking, songs and entrances

Panic and pressure have always been my allies... which is why I've done nothing thus far this weekend. I might get to work tomorrow. Wish I could help, but I know nothing about the topic. Good luck though. And, when in doubt, change font size to Courier New size 11. It adds to the length, but doesn't look like you're cheating as long as you change the size from 12 to 11. Oh, and since we're comparing papers -- Paper 1. Pretend l

At least I can admit I lied. Does that get me some points? Being honest about lying? I could have told myself, "I was going to go, but now I don't feel like it." Oh well. I keep telling myself that I don't own anyone any explanations.

Now that you're awake, the one that threw me was "variable" instead of "veritable". I KNEW you weren't totally on your game when I read THAT one. lol! That's what I get for trying to use big words... Sounds like a good time to me. Some call them injuries, I call them medals. I always call them war wounds. There was a soda battle, after all. Pictures have been loaded, and as soon as I g
