It was, fortunately for me, simply hail. I'll leave walking in Hell from Italy to Dante.

b) I decided to wear underwear that day Sorry that happened to you, SHE, but it made me giggle! I was wearing underwear. Unfortunately for me, it's a pair that says, "I'm an Aries" on the front, and the characteristics of an Aries on the back. They're such goofy panties... but since no one sa
The first chick didn't impress me all that much, but the girl from the fat rant was gorgeous. The thing is, I am not beautiful like her, so while she can be overweight and still look fab, a lot of us mere mortals can't. Tex, darling, I think I speak for everyone here when I say, if you don't cu
And SHE, Virginia is all 65. No 70s here, and not many 65s either (except on I-81). But there were no curves in Illinois! You could have done 80 with no problem! Even Tennessee allows 70. Plus, Illinois is such a bloody long state, it took us forever to get through it.
Or maybe that was shoes off shoe trees? I mostly see shoes on power lines... or beneath the trees. (Toes grip better than flip flops when you're trying to climb a tree.)
Oh, lord. Gid, you are NOT helping!
Fortunately, there is no YouTube clip to put in the article this time.
I could never get the hang of knitting. I can crochet all the live long day, but I cannot knit. I should learn because you can do so much more knitting than crocheting. Plus, knitted scarves look better than crocheted. My Harry Potter scarves just don't look as cool as the ones in the movies.
Since the recent cold snap, I've had to wear my old jeans that are too big for me. Unfortunately for me, not only are they too big because I've lost a good deal of weight, but also because they stretch like crazy. However, they're the only pair of jeans I have left, and it's too cold to wear my new Capri pants that actually fit. So, I'm going to Walmart thi
SHE: Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and a $6 chunk of Irish cheese. That's a great combination. I didn't start drinking wine until I went to Italy. All I'd had before was the cheap American stuff and it was less than stellar -- i.e. gross. After Italy, I've discovered good wine. Personally, I like a good blush, but red will do.
I haven't had the joy of Firefly yet, but I have friends who own it, and I'll be watching it over the summer.
One of these mornings, just for shits and giggles I'm going to walk into a truck stop for my morning coffee wearing pajamas, a bathrobe, and fuzzy bunny slippers. Please take a picture of this. Please, oh, please, oh please!
I have no idea why he did this, but I think it's great! <B
Yeah, creep preacher Caleb is the one in Drive, right? I thought it looked like him, but I didn't pay close attention.
As I finished reading your article, I thought, "But who are the guys with guns?" and then, it dawned on me -- the cops, stupid! I really am slow this morning. I hated driving through Illinois. The road was straight, but they still made me drive 65 mph. Even Arkansas allows 70mph! Drive safe!
What a fun read! I think we should have a section that's for "Snapshots into other blogger's real lives" because these are my favorite things to read. I, too, was curious about the furniture and liquor store, but it all makes sense now. I have nothing constructive to add, really. My brain is a little dead from *surprise* too much sleep! Have a good Saturday!
I didn't understand the point of the bunny commercial. It confused me, and did not make me want to buy skittles. Even worse, the bunny's singing drove me crazy! I had two bunnies once. We kept them in a cage in our back yard. We let them out once, and my boy cat named Susie chased them around, and they made horrible screaming noises. They weren't hurt, just scared. I don't know what happened to them. I never liked to play with them, and
You crack me up, Tex. What brought this on?
I used to own a downloaded copy of Once More With Feeling, and would watch it all the time, but when my computer crashed, I lost the episode. I managed to save the soundtrack, but not the show. Since I've only recently started playing around on YouTube, I thought I would look to see if these videos existed and, sure enough, there they were! It isn't as good as the real thing, but now I have them all saved in one place. One of these days I'll buy a
It's so sad that crap like this happens. Teachers and preachers end up getting a bad rap because of the freaks that are attracted to those jobs. It makes it so much worse because these are people we're supposed to be able to trust with our children. They not only violate the children, but the parent's trust. Then, to be a "man of God" and treat children this way, it's just sick and disgusting. My dad was a Baptist preacher, and though he n
You've got some great taste in music, you know that? Once you see what I just posted, you'll think I was drunk, but I'm not allowed to drink on campus. *sigh* I can't wait to get my own place! I will, however, mix myself a fake strawberry daiquiri and join you ladies. Cheers!
Once More With Feeling! Going Through the Motions<
I wish it wasn't such a long drive, or I would be right there with you.
It's looking pretty ugly here but the storm hasn't hit yet. I have to take my son to his guitar lesson so I hope it holds off until we get home. I hope it holds off for you too. <TD class="mb-Body-Q
Also it bothers me that he used a dry measuring cup to measure the milk. Huh? The kind of measuring cup he used is supposed to be used for dry measuring only: sugar, flower, etc. Milk and other liquids are supposed to be measured in one of those large measuring cups that have the ounce and cup markings on the side. I'm not describing it very well, but I hope you know the kind I mean. (I personally use the dry measuring cups for
