I've now been flashed by seven old women, one younger woman has come out of the dressing room only half-dressed. I've been yelled at because I told a woman we don't have any red bras. But hey, I'm starting to get used to it. Guess it's time to find a cave...

I don't know how you guys in the customer service field do it. I like to hide behind my desk and let the others deal with customer service! A lot of fake smiles. That's my usual weapon of defense. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%

There are many things in life that I do not understand. I do not understand physics. I do not understand calculus. I do not understand the space/time continuum. I do not understand how my voice can travel across the world and allow me to have a conversation with a friend in Italy. And I also do not understand how one person can be so rude, inconsiderate, foul and

I went to a special lecture one day by a visiting PhD. and was told that there is no such thing as boredom -- simply a feeling of disapointment that a situation did not meet our expectations. Of course, when he told me there was no boredom my first reaction was, "You wanna bet? Then what am I feeling right now?" Boredom can be a good thing. I've been bored all morning and LOVING it. But there are those times when you think, "Why on earth a

Your elf name, Camthalion, means "Strong Hand" from Cam - meaning hand and thalion meaning strong or dauntless Ancalime is the masculine version of Ancalima which means "Long Light" And that's a great hobbit name!

Sorry if I came off rude in the line that you quoted. I didn't mean it that way. There was supposed to be a at the end of the paragraph to show that I was teasing. I had come to peace with the fact that God would have to be enough for me. His love would have to suffice where I could not depend on earthly love. Two months after I came to this "Peace" where I actually meant it, Grant a

On sickness It could always be worse. I finally get to see my BF and what happens? He gives me whatever chest-illness he has. Now I'm coughing up a lung (as is he, 2.5 hours away). But, I'll keep this chest cold with happy heart. Ahhh, but the point of my posting. Since you will be surfing the net, have you ever visited www.illwillpress.com ? It's a fun (if full of language, violence, etc) site from the Lord and Master Foamy the

I've been harping on my relationship for far too long. It's time to write about what I promised when I started this blog --nerdy stuff. This is a link my old roomie and fellow Tolkienite sent me. I got a kick out of it and thought I would share. http://uncyclopedia.org/images/b/bd/Europe_middle_earth.JPG <a href="http://uncyclopedia.org/images/

Oh, and Kudos to you AD for making what I would assume to be a very difficult relationship, work. And thanks to all the sympathetic ears out there!

He still refuses to do a break. He's ready to talk and I don't think now is the time to put a "no communication" thing on us now. He sounds happy again and laughed for a solid five minutes while I described some of my coworkers. I view that last two weeks as a "break" from what is normal. His inability to talk to me and vent, because he was afraid it would start a fight, made me miserable. Finally getting both of our doubts out honestly

I needed people who are GOOD at long distance relationships! The problem with moving to be together is that I am still in school and will go to grad school in a year and he has a job that he can't leave just yet. We talked about, (actually, I suggested) taking a break and he refused. It may have been just a rough patch. We both missed each other a lot and we were havi

I worked with a "Friends" person. She had the dance Monica and Ross do at some party memorized and performed it at a talent show with her boyfriend. It was scary. Unfortunately, I'm a "MASH" person and a "Buffy" and "Star Trek: TNG" person for that matter... so I guess I can't talk much. However, I do NOT refer to the characters as if they were real people that I was aquainted with (though I talk about Tolkien that way" and I only quote or

Hehehe... I'm 22. Does that make me young? And now, one of my favorite quotes: The secret of staying young is to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age. ~Lucille Ball

I had planned to go to bed early tonight. I hadn't slept well last night and I was going to take a sleeping pill around 8:30, go to sleep and not wake up until I had to to go to work tomorrow. Everything was going according to plan. I got off work at 7, made it home by 7:15. My roomies were home, so I started talking to them. As I rounded the corner to

Didn't mean to frighten anyone. Added detail: I read this to my roomie who claims something similar happened to her. She won't give details, but if she does I promise to publish it to the web. (I love being evil)

Sorry to hear that. Sometimes I think life would be easier if we weren't together... I wouldn't have to hate Sundays, there would be no arguments, no worry about the future, etc. but then I think about how much easier he makes life sometimes. I won't say happier because I was a happy, complete person before him and will be again should something happen. But, even in my happy, single stage, I did miss having someone in my life. I would tell you the

I actually prefer just missing him to what I've been feeling lately. It's a peaceful feeling, in all honesty. I am happy right now -- I love my job, and I have plenty of friends around me there's just this part of me that wishes he was here to share it all with me. It's not a sad feeling... I don't know how to describe it actually. At least I'm not worried about losing him anymore. I love being a girl but jeez, I can be goofy sometimes!<

I think (from my many years riding them) seatbelts are not on schoolbuses because they pose a hazard to kids. We had to do evacuation practices as if 1. the bus were on fire or 2. we were somehow stalled on a railroad track with a trian coming. In these situations, time matters -- every second of it. Five-year-olds (and older kids) get into panic mode, can't get their seatbelts undone and waste time. At least that's what I was told by our school bo

I'm not worried tonight. I'm not angry. I'm not upset either. Tonight, I just miss him. I've missed him all day, really. He called early last night but I missed his call because I was taking a bubble bath. I don't get to talk to him tonight because I worked late. Hopefully, I'll get to talk to him tomorrow. I miss him a lot today. I wish I
