Speaking personally, I don't feel qualified to tell SD its business, and I don't think that's been the gist of the comments here. These are customers who, like I would were I on Win10, miss a great product and are letting SD know, in their own way, that there is still at least some demand (in the economic sense) for it out there. It's obvious to even casual observers that SD's main business is now firmly in the gaming arena and I wish them much success there.

It's interesting that you seem to think the KKK is such a big deal here, Jafo. It ain't & hasn't been for a long time. What whack jobs who still wear the robes usually do so without hoods these days & they can have their space in the town square just like the Black Panthers, Code Pink & any number of similar nutjob clubs. Politics is (should be) fair game in the 'Politics' section of the Forum. The topic 'Right to Privacy' could easily be considered a political topic as opposed to a personal computing topic. So maybe the whole thread should be over there? You see the difficulty in purifying discussions, no?

We actually have access to all the fossil fuels we need now. We even export. We're effectively in the midst of a test of wills with the Saudi's to see who blinks first. They are keeping production high and prices low enough to make our energy industry suffer. It's the only card they can play at the moment, quite unlike when they had a stranglehold on supply and could dictate the price.

One of the most fascinating books (and maybe longest) I've ever read was Foucault's Pendulum by Eco. Hard to imagine investing that amount of time in reading a book these days, but if you are so inclined, Pendulum should not disappoint. Interesting fellow.
