Oracle's Java is what the OP is about. Nothing to do with javascript, which bears an unfortunate name, causing this sort of confusion.
There are a few niche business websites which actually still require Java, believe it or not. My practice has to use one every day. This will finally force them to recode the damn thing, after ignoring our complaints about Java for years..

Very safe bet (farm, mortgage, you name it) that WB will be released as a standalone upgrade when it's considered ready (out of beta).

Strange. I get full-frame skinning of OL, Word, Excel & PP 2010 on Win7 Pro. The interior controls are not skinned of course.
And, of course, the AP continues to swallow it HL&S .
Stand-alone purchase is different than an Object Desktop subscription, as it appears you understand. When the release version is ready (should be soon given how long the beta has been out) you'll be eligible for upgrade, either free (if your purchase was recent enough) or at a discount. I'd spring for the OD subscription & eliminate the wait, but that's me. [e digicons][/e] Edit to clarify (I hope) - Historically, SD has
Context. Always, context.
Sad to learn he was a BDS'r. But he was awesome in Die Hard & Galaxy Quest.
Even more fun and games .
Saw it today 3D IMAX. Entertaining but without as much of the droll wit of the original, of which it was a total re-hash, minus the good/evil tension of the original. Still enjoyed it, though. Left a lot of opportunities for another 'mequel' or two to fill in the blanks. YMMV.
Thanks! That's about 3.5 hours more than my current laptop, so SP4 likely to happen soon.
You sure you're just guessing? [e digicons]B)[/e]
I'd pay attention to that guy => Neil
Adding an hour with such a simple tweak is pretty damn clever, Brad. May I ask what the pre-tweak baseline SP4 battery life was day-to-day? Thanks!
It's a very sporting thread now, don't ya think? [e digicons][/e]

Actually, and just for clarification, in British English, when used in a sentence, the word government is often used as a plural: "The government are taking this very seriously." [e digicons]:)[/e]
Jafo, being a subject of the Queen, you should know better. After all, government is plural. [e digicons][/e]
Awesome!!!
The Surface market, at least with respect to skinning, is the same as the desktop market - both running the desktop OS (except for RT). I expect to move into the Surface market by this spring & will look forward to using the compatible apps. Re-upping this month.
