I sympathize with you, neone6, but JcR is probably more right than wrong. Lots of reasons that interest in skinning in general is down. For one, as you well know (you do great work, BTW), it's now very difficult to produce a quality skin absent significant skill with graphics apps and TONS of time. Doing a skin justice is a pixel-by-pixel endeavor and my hat's off to those of you still at it. For 6 or 7 years I was an enthusiastic WB skinner & spent a f
Since I don't have ABP disabled anywhere, I can't say for sure, but there is an option to 'Disable everywhere' in that dropdown menu - perhaps on a disabled site the dropdown has an 'Enable everywhere' option. Logic is never entirely reliable in these matters, however.
And the drop-down menu for ABP tells you status - if Disable is an option, ABP is enabled for that site.
In case you missed it, BSDM, as I was editing while you were replying. And I just found that right-clicking on an ad image will give you the option to block it &/or everything served up by that ad domain. Those annoying teaser ads are gone now, after refreshing the page.
I think they must be whitelisted in the default filter lists as they show up even after unchecking that "allow non-intrusive ads" checkbox. While they are easy to ignore, the ones that get through are some of the most annoying and real estate gobbling, natch. And the drop-down menu for ABP tells you status - if Disable is an option, ABP is enabled for that site.
Hope you didn't mind the gentle ribbing. [e digicons][/e]
DaveBax - Is OL2010 not skinning for you but Word2010 is?
I use AdBlockPlus, but some sites still end up displaying "Sponsored Content" ads/links. Is AdBlock not able to block those?
menage a trois = three, not four....
Did I miss something? 2 + 1 ... Common Core?
What's chicken, what's egg is of little relevance - if SD doesn't anticipate a return on that dev investment, even if that anticipation is wrong, it won't happen. In which case, we'll never know. Don't blame them, nature of the biz.
Office 2013/2016 have the new "app" (aka metro) look which doesn't accept WindowBlinds skinning. It's a bummer
One of the reasons Office 2010 will have a long & healthy life here.
Didn't have to 'manage' to do it. It just skins the same as Word & Excel here, 'out of the box' so to speak. Only the frames, just to be clear.
Hope those plans bear fruit, Brad. Sorry to hear that the demand is waning to that degree. 'Bout to re-up, here, FWIW, & a Surface Pro 4 likely to be had by spring, so... [e digicons];)[/e]
There is a very good reason it is blocked from working on Windows 10!
That's a real shame if by that you mean there will never be a Win10 version of IP. [e digicons]:([/e]
MS Office apps have never skinned good, if at all. Nothing new there.
Office 2010 skins fine on WB8 - only quirk is titlebar text not skinning.
Speaking of FUD, anyone else notice that there have been no Win7 security update notifications in quite a while? I've had my system set to notify me when important updates are available but no systray notifications have appeared since maybe November. Out of curiosity, I just checked Windows Update manually and lo and behold, 34 important updates are waiting. Same on another rig so it must be 'server side'. Inscrutable, MS is.
The data are the data. Just sayin.
link I'm actually a little surprised they even published this. Certainly did so to no fanfare.
Just this . And this . And others. I realize these are 2.5-3 years old, but nothi
The list is for release version compatibility only. Betas compatible with Win10 which may be available to ODN subscribers are not specifically listed; example: Windowblinds.

You should have an email receipt for the renewal. When you do contact support or sales, they'll be able to sort it out with that info. Timing is bad with SD being away till Monday.
Care to elaborate a bit on how to do that?
I imagine he's referring to his perennial recommendation to always/routinely use a profile with only User privileges (not Administrator). Only switch to admin profile when necessary (or use the "run as Admin" right-click option when necessary).
Definitely the safest option, Monk. Keep pounding it home. But I notice you say, 'most'. [e digicons]*_*[/e] On that subject, is it possible to clone a profile & change the cloned profile's privilege level to User?
