Well... "problem". What's happening here is that the firewall is enabled by default and thus just about anything accessing the web gets blocked. This is not faulty behaviour, just something to be aware of.

I've noticed that exams tend to be about what's discussed in class rather than what's in the book. Not sure if that applies universally, but for me it meant I had more time to spend on games and fluff than factual studying.

I don't think Explorer is tied to Windows that deep. It has two functions: 1) shell and 2) file manager (the browser is something else which just carries the same name). Add/remove does not use Explorer (or at least: it doesn't show up in the Task Manager), but something like displaying your fonts folder does.

Technically, you don't. It must have some creative element. Ergo, saying 1 + 1 = 2 is non-copyrighted. And with regard to email, it's largely a grey area still. In the US there's this thing called "fair use", which you can slap on anything. Publishing site related emails on said site could be considered "fair". (And in this tiny country over here, email does not fall under copyright).

Email is as public as a postcard. As in: either the sender or the recipee can freely publicise it. There is no "hush hush you can't repost me" clause attached.
