OK, looks like the problem here is ur trying to use a translucent image in the NORMAL frames section of SKS.. you need to choose Active Window - Translucent from the dropdown menu..there you will find the checkboxes are not disabled. Good luck !

what are you trying to make work..specifically? Just make sure you have the transparency box checked for the image your working on and make sure you are importing a PNG with transparency to the desired place in SKS.

uunfortunately something in Wb's sets off some virus scanners.. Ive had them rejected from both Yahoo and Hotmail and labeled as viruses. not sure if its anything to do with your issue.. ..frustrating. Im sure someone can elighten us though.

I would not run Vista 64-bit yet. I know of far too many programs and drivers that don't support it yet.

see some folks saying that there are problems with applications not running on it, etc., but that is mostly fear mongering based on a *few* bad applications that have issues on the OS. If just ONE app that is invaluable to me on an hourly, even daily basis doesn't function then no amount of other reasons will convince me otherwise.....and.. Its significantly more than one.

Good or bad reception matters diddly-squat as long as the product is in the public consciousness. If the collective vibe it creates in the public consciousness is a negative one..not so good for the so called in-sight\cite-ful Ad wizards. This thread only furthers my negative opinion of Mac and its peripherals.

My Advice would be to hold off.. use 32 bit until the software and drivers catch up.. if not.. i can assure you you will get frustrated quickly.

What application do you install first after every reformat. ( not including drivers, system files etc)?? Me.. TweakUI.. it has a handy setting for specifying the amount of window positions that XP remembers. Ive always hated that stock XP starts forgetting where your open windows were after a few open \ closes. This is an easy fix. TweakUi also lets you specify what folders are listed in you "places bar" Does anyone really us

I lost years of psd's, styles, shapes, music, video, texts, mail, settings, basically everything..a while back. ...really pissed me off at the time.. Ive since come to the conclusion that sometimes to start anew may be the best thing that could have happened. 3 things.. 1. everything happens for a reason. 2. backup often 3. glad i dont make DX themes

My New PC came with full 64 XP bit pro disc.. seemed cool at the time..until Photoshop menus looked like hell, My webcam drivers weren't available from logitech.. etc etc etc. So now im back to 32 bit, with my 64 bit disc sitting in a drawer, useless to me. honestly I didnt see any noticable increase in speed, reliability or..anything.

Proud to be a pleasant peasant. FAR too many non-vista compliant PC's gonna be around to even THINK about abandoning XP anytime soon. I highly doubt Vista will surpass XP usage for at least 2-3 more years.
