Craig, I resent it as a zip, Ill try again bro.. As far as my question..I mean the fonts used by the shellstyle. Stytem Tasks, Other Places, Details..etc. Right now everything including fonts for widgets are set same.. Calbri -11 also my preferred font and size, however the shellstyle fonts remain some larger bulky XP font. Thats what i want to change. Ill try email you right now.

I though I had seen somewhere in a post how to change font type inside the shellstyle, cant seem to find it.. Anyone want to enlighten me on how to do it in WB.. XP standard font looks a little awkward in shell when the rest of the theme is Calibri. Im sure i wont be the only one who would benefit from this. thx in adv.

With respect to the two larger posts.. yes.. if ur an IT Pro it is a no brainer... no one wants to be left in the dust. Fact remains however..99.9 of us other folks arent IT Pro's and when your new 64 bit PC with a 64 bit OS refuses to play nice with the first 3 VITAL appz you use on a daily basis..its a no brainer for ME to Format c: and jump right back in the sack with ol' reliable. I'd have a hard time remembering being more frustrated than the first 2-3 day of 64 bit. <

thx for the info..fellow night owl. edit. Actually before i reinstall it and check that out.. can the view be set to default to Thumbnail view and STAY in that view next time you browse to that folder? THAT would be handy.

Enhanced File Dialog is WAY better at it and more customizable. to be fair I looked at the places bar function in Enhanced Dialog, What deters me from using it is it transforms your places bar button size to a narrow size as opposed to the larger squarer default.. If you use it as often as i do (500 times a day or more) its a lot easier to use\navigate with full size buttons.. I also didnt like the grid it seems to place between file\folder ent

Tutorials will only help you so much..best bet.. grab some coffee, smokes.. whatever your vice is.. and dig in for the long haul. No amount of tutorials will help you as much as "flying time" will.

Honestly... since the day I went Sp2 and turned on updates.along with some common sense.. I have had zero spyware, adware, virus on my PC....not one.Going on two years now. Seems to work flawlessly for me and although all the apps listed above are fine apps.. used them all in a previous proverbial life.. I use none of them anymore. I do use TweakUI for system customizing and tweaking. An MS Powertoy.

I just got Soundblaster Elite Pro soundcard, A 250 gig MyBook External HD and an Nvidia 7300 GS 512 MB... All compatible with Vista ( even tho i dont use it..yet ) and id recommentd all of it...and all from tax returns.
