I think what you need to do is look at the items you have on the dock and try to determine if one of them is causing the problem. This has happen to some folks in the past and I believe it's the only way to find your problem. What you will have to do is delete one item at a time off the dock and then reboot or you could delete the dock and then put back each item one at a time, rebooting each time. I use Object Dock on a Windows 7 64 bit system and it doesn't slow do

Object Dock won't change the color automatically but you can go into settings for each dock and change the color. You could also try using no color and then turn on transparency for the dock or use one of several 'Glass Docks' in that are available although this might not give the desired effect you are looking for. I use and like CCleaner very much, have not used CCEnhancer though, have to give that a try. I will say I don't like the new GUI but then I guess this is what everything is going to be so just have to live with it. [e digicons]:sun:[/e]

[quote who="paul_a_boucher" reply="8" id="3508584"] That's the setting John and RedNexkDude, but it no longer seems to work on my Win7-64 system. It was a convenient way to tame those app windows that keep claiming topmost, and I need to find a way to get that feature back. Tried uninstall, reinstall, et all... with no success. Okay this may or may not be something to look at but I don't believe I've seen any problems using the Discount Code identified with buying games. Seems that the problem is only ocurring with Object Desktop and WinCustomize subscriptions. Probably has no connection at all, sorry I brought it.

If you are running IE and even if you are not running any browser add-ons you might want to check Manage add-ons under browser settings. I don't run any add-ons but when I have had problems with IE and the site I have found that something has gotten download that I wasn't aware of. If you see anything under Manage add-ons that looks strange or you can not account for and it's enabled, disable it and see if it corrects the problem. This is just a suggestion and

Yup, just 48 hrs left to take advantage of Stardock’s Thanksgiving Sale: 50% Off! What a great offer and chance to gather up those games and software you always meant and wanted to buy. You can also bring your Object Desktop and WinCustomize Subscriptions current or extend their expiration dates. Also, what a great and inexpensive way to gift a new subscription, renewal, games or software for the Holidays. Say t

Theme Manager is in need of updating. My guess is that it is not compatible with Windows 8 or 8.1. It is still however listed as being part of Object Desktop so I take it sometime here soon it will be updated. I made Theme Manager Suites and uploaded them to the gallery. I included a link in the description of each suite to the skins used. My suggestion would be to just download them directly and then apply them. [e digicons]:sun:[/e]
