Look in the skin's directory (aka C:\Program Files\Object Desktop\WindowBinds\CopperDeckII or whatever the name of the directory is. You'll find a small bitmap in their that you can use as the User Pic that will fit in perfectly with the start menu. I don't recall the name of the bitmap. It's probably soemething like UserPic.bmp

The closest thing I've seen is this: Reluna Blue and Green (the zip has both versions). It's listed under Trillian 2.0 Pro, so I don't know if it'll work under Trillan 1.0 or Trillain .74. (Actually, now that I think of it, this skin was modelled after an older Trillian skin by Honz, so it may actually work on those older versions) http://www.deviantart.com/view/4905255/ [Message Edited]
You can pay for the Tivo service either monthly, or a one-time payment for the lifetime of the unit. What you're paying for is the service they provide: automatic software updates icluding new features, and more importantly, the guide data, which Tivo in turn licenses from Tribune Ent. The main selling about about Tivo over other PVRs is it's software and functionality. Tivo has quite a bit of ease-of-use features over a regular bare-bones PVR.
I've been wanting a DVR for sometime now. My cable provider currently doesn't offer any, so I bought a Tivo back in October. As Nakor said, I couldn't imagine being without it. It's one of the best purchases I've ever made.
Bytheway, ever noticed how similar some of the characters in Buffy and Angel are? Yeah, there are some rough parallels that can be drawn between them Fred and Willow: the brains Wes and Giles: the historians/watchers Gunn/Lorne and Xander: the wise-ass'es Conner and Dawn: the annoying teenagers Cordy and Anya: the blunt,
Thankfully we have the two upcoming Farscape TV movies to look forward to. That's another show which deserved to live beyond its short lifespan Yeah. It's my understanding that they're probably about 1/2 way through filming it (production began in Decmeber, IIRC). <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="mb-Body-Qu
I've been a fan of Whedon's shows for quite some time, and have been buying each DVD set as each is released. I enjoyed Buffy, then thought for the most part Angel was even better, and lastly thought his latest and sadly short-lived creation, Firefly, was the best of all. It seemed he he got better with each successive show, figuring out what worked and what didn't work. The network at least gave him a heads-up that it was happening so he could at least give the show a fair send-off. Th

It's part of the PixOS premium suite. You can buy the suite on Pixtudio's site: http://www.pixtudio.com
I don't understand what "the themes all look alike" means. If you mean that when you apply a Nextstart/Workshelf theme, you still have the same menu content, well that's a good thing. One of the great things about NextStart and Workshelf is that the theme is separated from configuration and content. Unlike some other apps where if you switch to a new theme, you have to spend time redoing your preferred customization to that theme. With Nextstart and Workshelf, you apply a new theme, and
That's not a problem with the skin, but some weird behavior that occasioanlly happens when you try to install a skin directly from the web page. Instead of clicking a WBA skin on the web page and trying to install it, right-click the link and select "Save As", and save the WBA file to some folder on your computer. Then, go to that folder, and double-click the the WBA file. That should properly install the skin
Nextstart Corporate is just for coporations and companies (hence the name Nextstart Corporate)
If I had to choose one or the other, I'd choose NextStart. I like it's menuing capabilities more than ObjectBar's. Alternatively, if you buy an Object Desktop, you get a whole bunch of appliations, one of which is ObjectBar Both NextStart and ObjectBar require some learning to get the most out of them I suggest you download both and try each of them for awhile before deciding which to purchase [Message Edited]
Winstep fullpack is really two applications bundled together: NextStart and Workshelf. Both of these apps can be purchased separately or together as "Winstep". NextStart is a popup menu system that does alot of other stuff like provide you an optional alternative taskbar, and various hotspot menu activation mechanisms. Workshelf is a tabbed, horizontal application that serves as a shortcut / folder / application launcher. There's also a font browser application that I
I'd also like to point out that the deluge of individual objectdock icons impacts the wincustomize system tray notifier which pops up with great regularity whenever there's a bunch of objectdock icons that have been uploaded. Though this may be a bug because I have the wincustomize system tray set to NOT notify me of objectdock icons, but nonetheless it still does
Okay, here's some of my take on the paper-thin symbolism and subtext in the movie which ultimately is so haphazard that it doesn't add up to much (and never mind the plot holes like why doesn't Zion have EMPs all other the place, and does Neo have a WiFi Adaptor in his skull) Merovingian, what with his underground S&M club and the reference in Reloaded that he collects old, lost things like The Twins,is supposed to represent the Lord of the Underworld. As Doomgaze previously said, it's a PHPNuke theme that that site just downloaded and used. The actual ripped Universe Metal PHPNuke theme is being distributed by this web site: http://www.nuke-themes.com The ripped theme is on this page (or thereabouts if they have added new themes since then) in their theme list. http://www.nuke-themes.com/themes.php?x=cat&dir=PHPNuke_6-0&show=190
This always seems to come up and I usually bite my tongue rather than respond. Nonetheless... You are "challenging" someone to make you a bunch of skins? Unfortunately, I think you'll get none unless YOU make them yourself. Skins take an huge amount of effort and time to make. Therefore skinners create skins that they themselves enjoy creating and sharing. Why would they spend all that effort to make YOU a skin (unless you're paying them)? And if for some reason, folks
Well it's nice, but it's still really pokey and often unresponsive on my computer. It often takes a second or so to resond to a mouse click, and often has large pauses between tracks (often seeing repaint issues on its GUI during these pauses). Yet, Winamp2, WMP9, and QCD are all relatively snappy on this computer.
Subterfuge has a substyle that adds buttons to the bottom of the windows, one of which turns the window semi-transparent
Guess I'm late too. Well that doesn't matter. Happy Birthday, Voo!
I usually use a normal browser rather than SDC or the SkinBrowser for downloading and download skins for archival purposes so that I can install them whenever I want and burn a CD of them for storage. I used to have a folder called Downloads and had subfolders underneath it for each type of downloads: Windowblinds, Wallpapers, Winamp and so on. However, this system doesn't work well when you start downloading skins that are part of an overall theme, because the various skins fo
It's my understanding that they were aware of the flaw before the guy even wrote about it. And I'd echo Keila's brother's concerns. It's marketed as a typical CD, when in effect it's really a CDROM that installs software on your computer under the radar without even a EULA or a notice or whatnot. To me, that's pretty much the same as a trojan [Message Edited]
Multiple, random logos on every page-reload would be an unnecessary use of bandwidth, which on a site as poplular as this one, would not be good thing, IMO [Message Edited]
