I want a free General Motors car. I mean, they've made a ton of money over the years. Do they need any more? I've had several GM cars in the past,so I figure as a loyal customer, they should give me one for free. By giving away cars to their previous customers,it increases their mindshare. That way more people are aware of GM and their cars and they too can eventually get free cars.

I forgot to mention Kurt Busiek's Asto City. Another intelligent adult super hero series. Also, A Distant Soil is a great sci-fi comic series.

I only buy the occasional graphic novel compendium. Good stuff: Ultimate Spider-man J. Michael Straczinksi's Rising Stars (really really good) Alan Moore's Watchman The Preacher SandMan Books of Magic I haven't read the X-Men in a while. In the early-to-mid-70s I bought X-Men #1 for 9 bucks. Since then I've always stored it, along with my other valuable comics in a dry dark closet. 5 years ago we had a big ice-storm that ended building an ice damn on the roof. Wa

Or let me put it this way. Do you postulate then, in general, that a software company should not be compenstated for the resources they put into creating the software and compensated for its use by people?

Okay I admit defeat. How the heck do I look at the latest wallpapers in the skin browser. I can see sorting by creation date, updated date, but I can't see the newest. For instance, on the web page, I currently see a wallpaper by Boxxi. For the life of me I can't get the skinbrowser to display things in a like-mannered fashion. I iz so confuzzed. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border

Jafo: Ultimately...you get a '3' from me....'not grey enough'...an '8' from BoXXi...'good, but I make these too and I see faults'....a '10' from Johnny-New-Guy....'wow, never seen one like this before'...etc....Average?....'7'. But doesn't this make the ratings somewhat meaningless because there's nothing, no even a comment to back them up with why it warrented such a rating? You might as well pull the numbers out of a hat. As Paxx and Lecrayon say, statistically, the only way

Look at the Windows Display Dialog box. Along with the Background, Appearances, and Settings tabs, there should now be a new tab called Skins. From there you can select the skin you want to activate then press the apply button.

In the discussion section, I type in a reply to a post. I should hit the submit button underneath it to post the message. However, 50% of the time I naturally gravitate to the OK button on the bottom right of skin browser app and automatically click it. Of course, the OK button is meant to close the skin browser (as well as the cancel button. I haven't figured that one out yet). Anyways, goodbye post. Goodbye Skinbrowser. Restart skinbrowser, retype in post, make sure I hit the submit button. GR

There are various XML standards out there, though often those might be overkill for what you'd want to accomplish. A simple home-grown XML schema would suffice here. You shouldn't have to worry about how info is ultimately stored in the database since you'd never see it. It'd get translated back and forth to/from XML.
