I think you need a slightly newer version of DesktopX (1.99 something or other). If you have ObjectDesktop subscription, you can download it using Stardock Central. I don't know what the shareware version number is, but perhaps you should try downloading it again to get the newer version

I remember a couple years ago I bought Robot Monster on VHS (the old 50's bad sci-film where the robot monster was really a guy in a gorilla suit, with a sort of old-style diving bell helmet that had antennas attached to it). It was in 3D and came with two pairs of those blue and red glasses. I watched it with a friend and we both got major headaches from the glasses, as well as the fact that the movie was terrible

I never could understand the juvenille mentality of those types of troll comments. It's interesting how the internet gets you to experience all manner of socially-challenged people that you wouldn't normally encounter elsewhere

You can buy it online. If you get it from Corel (the makers of Bryce), it's $79.99 http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=Corel/Products/buyInfo&id=1042551234521 But you can also get it cheaper elsewhere, like at buy.com for $66.06 http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=20353890&loc=105

My view filter goes to 11. It's not 10. You see, most blokes, you know, will be viewing at 10. You're on 10 here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on 10 on your view filter. Where can you go from there? Where? What I do is, if I need that extra push over the cliff, you know what I do? 11. Exactly. One higher.

I too would pay for addtional versions of MetalX2 (or whatever skin it happens to be) While this is indeed an approach noone has tried, it is similar to a skin suite in which a couple of skins in the suite are released for free. Only in this case rather than a whole collection of different application skins, the focus is on a whole bunch of variations of a central WB skin

It sounds like Spaceling by Doris Piserchia. Published by DAW books in 78. The main character in this book is a deliquent girl named Daryl. She's got some mutation that allows her to see an walk through colored rings to other dimensions and take the form of the life-forms found there. You can find a short review of the book here to verify whether its the book you remember: http://www-users.cs.york.ac.uk/~susan/sf/dani/PS_008.htm If it is, it seems to be out of print, but you ca

I noticed a couple of other glitches. 1. For some reason the animated iRider graphic in the upper right hand corner of the browser has disappeared. 2. The back button doesn't always navigate properly. On some webpages, I click a link and that page loads in the current window. But if I press the back button on the toolbar, instead of going back and loading the previous page that was displayed in that window, it instead advances to the previous thumbnail tab entry. Instead, I hav

Yes, popups can be probelmatic. Some you want, some you don't want. Having a popup be captured in another tab is nicer than having it popup, but 90% of the time I don't want the popup, and therefore still have to close the tab. That's not as flexible as having a user configurable popup handler in which the user can specify known webpages that have undesriable popups, or having an option to toggle the popup handler when going to a website that has desirable popups that you don't want aut

Not that I'm aware of (other than the example that comes with KKMenu) Your best bet might be to read the comments here, which is the KKmenu entry in the ObjectDock library. There's lots of commeents and advice on how to setup KKmenu https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=29&SkinID=703

It depends. I usually don't mess with skins unless there's something that really really bothers me (usually the backgrond window color that's usually light text on dark background on dark skins) Sometimes I'll tweak the font settings either to make it bigger or remove shadow / outline effects so that its easier on my eyes

that's quite a deal. But I'd be concerned that it only has 128 meg of RAM. I'm running Windows XP with 256 meg of RAM and I'd like to move up to 512 meg. Most computers that come bundled with WindowsXP ususally are 256 or 512 meg RAM machines
