Yahoo! buys Upcoming.org in Internet WinCustomize Forums

If you don't know what Upcoming.org is, its sort of like a social calenar program. From what I have seen, it is mostly used to show off events, not personal stuff (like I see on MySpace) Yahoo buys Konfabulator, now Upcoming... what is next? Listal? Stardock? (no I think Google will buy them out)

How come I can't get that thing to work??? Do you have a firewall on your computer GoodMorphing? I never see anything... I even have thw screensaver that shows the lights of cities and it don't work either... I am thinking its my firewall and it comes up when the screensaver goes up... but I am not sure.

Man!!! Where is the article about why Trillian isn't on the map for WinCustomize??? Basically, if WinCusto is going to support the program, the program makers have to at least want to direct traffic to WinCusto. From what I understand, that seems to be the sticking point. Content might also push Konfabulator and even DesktopX out the door more than Mac or MS native anything. If DX gets its gadget website out the door, developers have 2 good choices.
