Nope. As for unemployment, I haven't applied to them as this requires going to their office, standing in line, all that stuff. I'm not yet physically able to do this as I can barely walk a few steps and don't have a wheelchair. You can't do it online or by phone? They are suppossed to be... infact ARE s

I posted this on a thread a few minutes ago: What happens when you technically 'blow the whistle' on something you, they, him and her know is a life endangering situation??? You get fired or 'laid off'. Well why don't you ust sue them then? Civil lawsuits are NOT easy. Right now, I am going to be part of one shortly against a company that: A) Put my life at danger B) didn't investigate harrassment charges C) d

Yes, and you should tell him to get one. It doesn't cost that much to have your own domain name and email address (I wouldn't advise him on getting a GMAIL account lol) Being [email protected] just don't set well, especially when your a techy and know just how easy it is to get a email address (or even set up a web page) As for lawsuits... civil lawsuits are NOT easy. I am going to be part of one shorty against a company that A) Put m

Hey, good idea on the static pages!!! If you can have a page be static when, for the most part, it doesn't really update very often (once every 10 minutes) then the server can generate the static page when something new is posted and then just make it available. We see a page for of info and the server is chillin because it doesn't have to keep regenrerating a page per each request. I guess inline frames have a use afterall. Those more dyn

This is the funny thing about these programs I am seeing now that I am on it... at least in NY. It was hard for me to get on it, and very quick to get off of it. I now earn about 120 dollars a week (480 a month) and I do not qualify to be on public assisance any more. I guess somehow I am suppossed to pay rent with this amount of money as well as carfare to go to and from work (right now its 40 dollars a week because it is in New Jersey) <

I was so interested by the article someone here wrote a few days back: The distributed desktop environment https://www.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?AID=72419 So this makes me wonder, especially since microsoft was trying to do this with intergrating internet explorer with the OS, is this something that will be the norm in the future? Just sign in and there is my desktop?

... *sigh* As far as video on demand the best way to cure that is with torrents. they use less bandwidth and download quicker because it is coming from multiple sources. I wish sometimes these companies would actually LOOK at these P2P programs and see how they can use them. This, amonst other reasons, is why I am thinking about starting a record/promotion/resource company that is non-for-profit for artists. Maybe THEN we can get

Funny... I remember only a few months ago that I would go on there site and look for a cheap computer. I see one that says 899 and click on it. I always wondered why I could never get the set up that made the computer cost 899. I was always taken to some page that asked for some features and the next thing I know, the price was 960 somthing... After looking REAL hard, I can find the link that would give me the 899 price, but it was difficult.<

you know... I thought this was a forgone conclusion already... or was that last season? I saw someone playing Hockey on TV a few days ago and I was thinking that it must be a tape because there is no Hockey this year... I am still a little confused because they were talking like as if it was a game on right now... anyway, I think sports in general has gone heywire. Before it was the owners getting all the cash and players getting 'the
