Google Page Rank Doesn't Work???? in Search Engines JoeUser Forums

For those of you who pay attention to the page rank (like I do... it entertaining!) know that it is not updated to much and it not why your page comes in before another one. The link is a good read. What I found WAY more interesting is that someone mentions creating a non-search engine that is a collection of links (a post made by hugo guzman) to gage the worthiness of a web page. That might work as much as Wikipedia seems to work.<BR

As the original artists we do and should have a right to control how our graphics are shown in public. Something i don't see happening here. When i asked for that shot to be taken down i was told no. Now i put you may not alter or distribute our artwork in any form. It's clearly stated like on the nVidia skin. <B

Is anyone having problems signing in with Object Desktop? in Object Desktop JoeUser Forums

I can't seem to sign in. I notice that the site now uses the users nickname and password for signing in. Is that what I should put in the 'email' area of the account infomation? Same problem with Wincustomize Browser as well. It might just be me because my account is all funny with a cross reference with another account.

You know, for the CD's I was going to use Macromedia Director 7. I probably still will for more complex works, but this Inpression Creater seems great. I could probably use t in tandem with Director to really make something hot. But wait, if you have Desktop X Pro for commercial use, couldn't you do the same thing? Or is Impression Creator a easier way instead of useing DX Pro LX for example.

Oh and in some ways, I am opening up a site for artists but its doesn't have a deep focus on skinners but is clearly there celled eSource Magazine. When Deskmod comes back and combines it power with Modblog eSource will have is skin area as well (but its focus is on current events and entertainment) I think that lead back to what I wrote earlier, skin sites are becoming more thought out and focused on a specific type or theme and slowly branch

A lot of skin sites (or related) crashed and burn. I remember SkinIt and Skinzone. There were a couple of others too. I thin what is happening now is that its either consolidating or the sites that do come up now are more focused on a piticular. Skinartistry Skinzone is one.
