I was wondering about it being here. I thought, not to knock it, it is in the 0.2 stage of its development. So I thought that was why it wasn't going to make it until it gt more testing... ok, I guess this is the question thread for me cause I got another one. I do not have a icon maker, but I have bitmaps of icons, it is as simple as changing the bitmap extention to an icon extention and then package them (of course it will only be one size) in icon packager? If I want transparencies to work do I use magic pink? Will that work on windows 98? If I can't use magic pink then what can I use for the transparentcies?

Its probably the DesktopX. Depanding on the theme it could run allot of stuff in the background or for that matter have allot of animations. It also has transpaerncies running too depending on the theme. I guess the question is what themes are you using? Right now I work mostly on a laptop and there are themes that slow things down. It is posible Carlitus that you would have to change your name to say, boo the clown. Then change it back to carlitus, but in lower cases. I guess the databse, while it reconizes caps and lower case, it still sees them as the same letter and will tell you it is taken. (in other words even if you wanted you name in all caps it would not work because those letters in that order are taken, by you ironically) Sylva is probably to common. you know what's funny, my Windows Media Player did just what your talking about Vodoo. 30 minutes of playing and CRASH!!! I thought maybe it was the animation or maybe it was something else. It doesn't do it any more (but I got my computer re-imaged so allot of things don't happen anymore). That is when I found out my problem was a bad mpeg file.
