They still owe me books
#21 by craeonics - 8/16/2004 5:33:36 PM Oh, and never lend your books to friends. You'll find you're always in need of the books one of your mates just carried off. YEAH!!! Whats up with that anyway????
Thanks! Anybody else?????
yeah!! I just figured it out this morning.
For me, my computer can't take the animation bewteen the initial skin and the new skin. Only reloading the skin fixes it. Did you try that?
I think I should get Norton. I like it better. I have McAfee now and its cool but... I guess I am more in the linking of yellow and greens these days. mcAffe is blue and silver...
#28 by craeonics - 8/14/2004 1:01:24 PM Dude, if you can't come up with an original name, what to expect from your business then? Kind of has a point there... are you doing branding? If you are you 'should' be able to come up with something. No offense to Skindicate, but that sounds more "mob" style than business style. (even the tag line is l

#18 by TasT - 8/16/2004 3:38:07 PM Show up....... I currently have a 4.0 in my Jr. year and all I have done is show up to every class. As said above that's where you get the info that will be on the tests. Also some colledges use attendance as part of your grade. Bingo!!! Show up and do the homework. At times you won't even have to s
Funny, because most of the people I show this stuff too love it. I usually don't mention the word "skinning" until I explain what it is: Desktop Customization. I have been in this community for so long I forget sometimes that others do no know what skinning is. I am trying to get my friends into it more. I am even planning to buy a few of them Object Desktop or WindowBlinds subscriptions. WHAT A NICE FRIEND I AM!!! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.gif" border=0 ALI
OK guys, don't ask why I am doing this but I LOVE SKINNING!!! So here is the deal: A long time ago I wrote up a desktop customization report on mainstream skinning. I planed to have another one and while writing the second one I realized I needed a third one. So now its three parts. At a specific point I decided to ask what other people in the community felt about mainsteam skinning and its effect. Mayne of you here (well maybe not so many) probably gotten that email a while ag
I have an idea, but its more of a workaround. Don't show the quicklaunch toobar and create another toolbar (as in user created) the user created toobars have more options like text, no text and stuff like that. You can increase the icon size on user creaet toobars. Just have the user created one go to the quicklaunch folder. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0
Yeah, check the system restore and see what happens.
Well, I know I won't be updateing to SP2 anytime soon. I need my Cursor XP!!! Anyway, they probably will come up with a fix (unless there is something else going on with your computer... check for spyware and any viris) Also, try to chat with some of the developers on the stardock user forums newsgroups. That might help. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIG
I'll do it!!!! Its called 'Sixteen' and it will be out... in a few months (I want to finish Plava first)
Not Dogpile... awww man!!!!
I saw that on other computers too, but I never asked how they made the quicklaunch icons big. Look through some of the screenshots and maybe you'll find someone with big quickstart icons and email them to ask them how they did that.
I think I am Toobar crazy!!!! I am about to install another one!!!

To that I would say that many Americans live pretty well compared to their counterparts in other countries. I just think that all this outsourcing eventually comes back to the USA in money and good relationships (not to mention world stabability... if a country can have something is a way of an economy it is less likely to become a criminal haven)
You know, one of the only reasons why I use IE is because of the useful toolbars. I love Google and is a mainstay on my explorer windows. Then Frogboy talked about Alexa toolbar and now I have that. So it would seem that everything is all good, but then I come across Dogpile. The search engine is cool but I really like the RSS feed. I, of course, have it set to my own blogs as well as JoeUser and Modblog blogs, but I also have it sell for ZDNET and Downloads.com and some other news plac
Well, I didn't download it yet. so far my computer acts as if its safe so I will wait a few months before I get it. I go to those sites that scan your computer for faults but so far everything is closed. Anyway, from what Jafo says, I think I will consider PowerDesk Pro anyway. I still currently can not download skins directly after pressing DOWNLOAD. I try to set it for automatic download but it still won't work. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/
