I think it depends on what your actually trying to do with your website, how many people will be on it, how much interaction you want, and so forth. If its a profesional site, then spending money is the only real way of doing it. How much is what will be in question. If it is a personal site, then it depends on how much interaction you will have on your site, and so forth that will determain whether or not you will be able to have a free sit

to good to be true! an interesting find.
So does this mean that if I was to download a skin with WindowBlinds 4.x, I might not be able to use some of the skins currently uploaded in the gallery? I think there should be a mark that this only works with WB5 or something (like DX gets or Icon Packager) What do you think?
Seems like Wincustom has been taken over by podcasts.
This again? The only timess I ever had a pop up on WC was when I had somethingon my computer. That reminds me, recently I got a pop up (wasn't signed in) while one Netscape (of which in itself seems funny cause it has a pop up blockers too). I don't remember what site I came from, though... Oh well. Besides, pop-ups are so lame. Its cheap quick money, but in the long run (long run meaning more than 3 mo
hey guys thanks for your help. Luckily i went browsing through the folders and i saw that FireFox can be started in safe mode and i was able to change the theme there. But this info is good to know for the future.
Does anyone know here how to change the theme for FireFox without turning it on? I can't change anything on FireFox with the current theme working right now. Thank you for your help.
I think the idea about using the 3 digit pin is so that the card doesn't get shut down to quickly. Yeah, with name and address already at hand along with the credit card number (you might not even need the persons address), purchases can be made a many sites. But with the 3 diggit number at your disposal, now you might have the posibility of shopping on more sites and buy bigger things and do it without tipping off the credit card
Visual Basic (LSVirus.dll) They called it Virus? If you know how to code, then DX can be used in a way that would smoke an LS theme
Yahoo! Widget Engine. Good grief...
There are many threads in this forum regarding this subject. I am well aware of what Litestep is and what DX is. Which, of course, doesn't answer the question. Why should I, for example, use Litestep Antares over DX Antares? I guess I don't get the question then unless it specifically has to do
I don't know if you heard of this one, but its new to me and I would think, quite frankly, a very useable scam indeed. Here is the lowdown: (Its for the US but I am sure it can happen elsewhere) WARNING...New Credit Card Scam. Note, the callers do not ask for your card number; they already have it. This information is worth reading. By understanding how the VISA & MasterCard Telephone Credit Card Scam works, you'll
I'm not really sure what all the buzz is about with tabbed browsing. You either have a bunch of tabs, or you have a bunch of tasks in the taskbar. What's the difference? With a little tweaking I've been able to surf with 20+ windows open in IE. AND a download or five. You have got to be kidding
Wait... it can? I don't remember seeing a totally transparent Windowblinds skin where theo whole border is transparent and the buttons glow.
Honestly I don't think they can be compaired. Litestep is a shell replacement and DesktopX does not do that at all. A better compairison would be Litestep to Aston Shell. The closest thing to Desktop X is something... I can't remember the name... I think its on Deviant Art and then Konfabulator (and I am not really sure if Konfabulator can be directly compaired either but it comes close to DX in widget making but not desktop repla
Next Desktop: The Beach with sunset and sun rise!!!! (Also on tap: City Scenes!!! Day Time and night time looks of NY, The golden Gate bridge, Paris, and Las Vegas)
Wow, cool. I hope the install isn't to complex.
I say Opera is the better bowser, but I just like FireFox more. The extentions is just what I need (for Opera it just doesn't seem right) and just seems to smooth. Opera has the smaler footprint and is really a good choice for a browser. Maybe if I had Opera first... naaa I still would like FireFox more. I really don't know why.
For me the real issue is design. I can care less about a HALO2 related computer. The thing is basically is tht it can be done so why don't they do it? I'll admit Dell's black on gray with its smilie face thingy seems nice. I just think it can be more cutting egde... heck, not even cutting edge, just more designed. Have you guys seen the Dell XPS? Ghaaaaa...
lets all sue because the 360 can kill you if you don't play it for 4 hours every week. it does something to the house current...
I have always wondered since I have seen the new iMac that why does PC cases have to be so boring. many manerfacturers act like they just can't come up with a design that will fit in the office and living room. Sorry, I don't want a square box case with wood paneling... I don't call that design. But the link I saw on Digg.com is something more to the point. MAKE THAT PLEASE!!!
William Green: Because the shadows are actually part of the skin. They are not being added later by WindowBlinds. Ahhhh... I was thinking that.
so if join a subscription service... like Yahoo Music thingy or that other one... I forget what its call (but aren't they all the same??? LOL), all I need is a memory stick? GREAT!!! I was wondering about that.
