I've been using the Microangelo software for years and so far has worked perfectly. I've assigned custom icons to most of my folders and those files that support them. Other than that, I guess you could delve into the depths of the Registry, though as with hacking, i don't recommend that unless you know what you're doing.

I think Jafo is missing a "d e l e t e" somewhere in his last post. Weird behaviour that... removing the word d e l e t e. As far as latin4567 's behaviour is concerned, i think it's more down to teenage impetuousness and not having been educated in "netiquette" more than anything else. I don't think he's intentionally trying to get a rise out of anyone. I have known plenty of 12 year olds who say inappropriate things at inopportune times. They just have to be educated

I'm always impressed when people come up with awesome skins using only MS Paint. I can't, for the life of me, understand how they can use such a basically infantile program to make quality images. I'm with everyone else here who thinks Xav should enter the GUI Olympics. Not only are you talented, Xav but you have the tenacity and patience to create whole suites for all the different StarDock software (and others) when others (myself included) aren't as dedicated. Go for it! <im
Just would like to point out that the images aren't linked to any larger pictures as stated by the tooltips. :P
I may be entering parts of my Novasuite (WindowBlinds, IconPackager) which I've been working on for a while now, hopefully they'll have some sort of chance. Guess I'll be flying solo this trip.
Yeah, parts of those areas aren't able to be transparent because they contain text areas. Like uM0p ap!sdn said, if you're good you can give the illusion of transparency by having the panel background display whatever you would normally see behind the panel. It's sort of a dodgy fix but if done correctly it can look passable, if not really good...

Same here on Windowx XP Pro, have Plus!, SP1 and DesktopX and it runs without a hitch.

I don't think that would be a bad idea, and it would introduce Stardock products to a whole new audience and Samurize to the WinCustomize audience. Be cool if it did happen.
