What's the deal with some of the bootskins I've made showing up wrong when booting up? They're the right size and resolution and colours, etc but when they're actually working on the bootscreen, part of the bottom of the image is cut off as though the image was actually larger in height than the screen. I've had ti happen with a couple of my latest ones and I've seen it also on some I've downloaded from WC. Any ideas?

There *are* ways of mimicking realistic-looking precious metals in digital graphics (gold, silver, copper, platinum, etc) and it's not really hard once you figure out how it looks in real life. Just spend some time having a look at jewelry or images of gold (or other metals) items.
